Pay - that's it.
Horribly work environment. Worst backstabbing you can imagine. No worries if you in the right level of management, everyone else is at risk of being washed out. If you are over 50 you will be washed out prior to retirement, they've done it to every retiree that I've talked to.

Nothing. The management is either complicit or oblivious to the rot within.
get rid of 90% of the management and start over.
I wouldn't.
