Essential Functions: * Submit timely and accurate invoices or claims for grant-funded services and jail contracts through the appropriate portal, clearinghouse, or invoicing process. * Track and follow up on payments received from grantors and jails to ensure full reimbursement and resolve underpayments or denials as needed. * Review unbilled reports and ensure all eligible services are billed in accordance with payer and contract guidelines. * Maintain detailed billing and payment tracking spreadsheets for grants and jail contracts. * Communicate professionally and regularly with external partners, including grant agencies and correctional facilities, as well as internal stakeholders such as the Grant Team and Treatment Centers. * Prioritize learning and adapting to new systems, processes, or billing requirements to ensure compliance and efficiency. * Monitor and respond to emails from the Grant Administration team, ensuring timely follow-up on billing episode changes and reporting requests. * Submit performance measure reports and any required documentation or reconciliations to grant funders or correctional contacts. * Collaborate with RCM leadership and other internal departments on billing-related questions or revenue-impacting issues. * Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and correct billing or coding errors before claim or invoice submission. * Assist in the processing of refunds or adjustments as needed per payer or grantor requirements. * Participate in special projects and support continuous process improvements related to grant and jail billing. * Protect patient health information by adhering to all HIPAA regulations and organizational privacy policies. * Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
