JOB PURPOSE

The Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) is currently seeking a CanGrow Grants Coordinator to coordinate the administration of the CanGrow grants.
This position is located in St. Paul and may telework from home two days per week and is expected to be in the office three days per week.
A successful incumbent in this position will be able to:
+ Develop and implement strategic policies and procedures for the respective grant program
+ Foster community engagement and enhance support for social equity applicants and other targeted groups within the legal cannabis industry
+ Manage a grant application process and implement short- and long-term plans for the grant program
+ Ensure program transparency and accountability through comprehensive reporting and compliance monitoring
+ Monitor and balance a budget of approximately $2 million in state grant funds
**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Two (2) years of experience managing grants and using grant management software, analyzing financial reports, reviewing and monitoring budgets and making recommendations on solutions to procedural and operational problems
+ Experience managing a procurement process for grants
+ Writing skills sufficient to draft policies and procedures for a large grant program and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Budgeting skills sufficient to manage a budget of approximately $2 million
+ Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
+ Experience identifying grant-related issues, evaluating options, and independently recommending or implementing solutions.
+ Experience managing or coordinating projects, workflows, or deliverables across internal or external partners.

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Four (4) years of experience managing complex grants in the State of Minnesota.
+ Experience using SWIFT
+ Experience with inventory management systems
+ Knowledge of MN cannabis laws, rules, and regulations
+ Experience writing policies and procedures
+ Experience working with community partners with a focus on disparate impact, diversity, equity, and/or social justice and fairness
