The Grants & Jails Billing Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate billing and follow-up of claims and invoices submitted to grantors and correctional facilities. This includes utilizing various portals, clearinghouses, and manual invoicing methods as required by funders. The Coordinator plays a key role in communicating with external grant partners, jails, and internal departments to ensure billing accuracy, prompt payment, and consistent reporting. Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential to maintaining successful partnerships and ensuring revenue integrity.
Essential Functions:
* Submit timely and accurate invoices or claims for grant-funded services and jail contracts through the appropriate portal, clearinghouse, or invoicing process.
* Track and follow up on payments received from grantors and jails to ensure full reimbursement and resolve underpayments or denials as needed.
* Review unbilled reports and ensure all eligible services are billed in accordance with payer and contract guidelines.

* Assist in the processing of refunds or adjustments as needed per payer or grantor requirements.
* Participate in special projects and support continuous process improvements related to grant and jail billing.
* Protect patient health information by adhering to all HIPAA regulations and organizational privacy policies.

Responsibilities: Writes, rewrites and/or edits technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences. Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing product developers, observing performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals. Oversees preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts. Conducts quality review of materials.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a bachelor degree with 5 years' experience or a master degree with 3 years' experience or a PhD with 3 years' experience. Will consider demonstrated expertise with a minimum of 9 years of hands-on experience in integrated avionics for advanced/heavy aircraft or electro/environment maintenance in lieu of formal degree
Proficient in utilizing the USAF General System Technical Order
Knowledge of complex aircraft systems with a focus on navigation, communication, radar, flight control, electro, and environmental systems either in flight line or shipboard operations. This includes a strong command of aircraft operation theory, advanced troubleshooting techniques, and the ability to interpret complex wiring data, engineering drawings, flag notes, supplier/vendor information, and other source data essential for developing Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) for field use.
Ability to accurately interpret and utilize intricate wiring data, drawings, flag notes, specifications, and system descriptions to correlate effectively with block and detailed schematics.
Understanding of authoring technical content standards to S1000D International Specification for Technical Publications, IETM, or Data Module writing tools (e.g., Arbor text, EAGLE, XML, or similar programs).
Must have an active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with the Eagle/EPS publishing system.
Mastery-level mastery in the fundamental principles, concepts, practices, and standards of aircraft avionics or electro/environmental systems maintenance
Demonstrated expertise in conceptualizing, authoring, and refining detailed procedures and technical documentation for aircraft systems and subsystems to drive operational excellence and exceed regulatory compliance standards
Strong command of electrical and electronic component systems, with the ability to accurately trace wiring diagrams and signal data flows and develop that information to a block and detailed schematic
At least 7 years of experience as an air vehicle maintainer in integrated avionics for advanced/heavy aircraft or electro/environmental aircraft maintainer, demonstrating hands-on technical experience and leadership
Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
