United is looking for a Graphic Design intern to join our design team & support all marketing efforts (print, publications, online, e-mail marketing, in-stadium, promotional products, direct mail, etc.). The chosen candidate must be a team player who understands the importance of communication and adhering to deadlines. Creativity, hard work, a positive attitude and dedication are musts. This position will report to the Art Director and required to work some nights and weekends while working in stadium for a number of matchdays. POTENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design original creative elements
Adapt design elements to extend the club brand throughout all collateral
Designs projects that include but are not limited to:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Must be pursuing a college degree, preferably in graphic design/fine art.
Portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles, visual design, layout, and typography.
Experience in sports creative is preferred.
Eligible to receive college credit for the internship.
Dedicate a maximum of 25 hours a week to the internship from February 2026 to May 2026.

The GraphicArtist will provide graphic arts development and support for a high tempo combatant command military operations directorate. The artist will plan and design the production of graphics used in instructional aids, exhibits, and multi-image presentations. Preparing and overseeing the preparation of original designs, drawings, graphs, charts, models, publications, and exhibits for internal and external presentation by senior leaders will be a daily occurrence.
Duties
Creates and visualizes ideas graphically for documents, publications, and web sites
Provides end-users with recommendations and in-depth graphicartist support for the development of documents, briefings, and websites with no guidance
Revises subject matter for graphic presentation to achieve customer intent selecting materials, processes, and designs format with no guidance

Operate company vehicles as needed (with a valid Driver's License)
Installs signs when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong verbal and written communication skills

This role focuses on creating visually compelling materials that translate complex scientific and policy content into clear, engaging visuals for diverse audiences, including Congress, media, and the public.
Core Responsibilities
Design graphics and layouts for print and digital media
Develop and edit PowerPoint presentations and visual decks
Create graphics for press releases, media kits, and publications
Design infographics and data visualizations
Develop visuals for conferences, exhibits, and events
Create graphics and animations to support video and digital storytelling
Produce original illustrations (digital, traditional, or 3D)
Ensure all deliverables meet Section 508 accessibility standards
Adhere to NSF branding and visual identity guidelines
Collaborate with writers, editors, and subject-matter experts
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Professional experience producing graphic design for print and digital platforms
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting federal agencies
Experience with scientific or technical content
Motion graphics or animation experience
Salary Range
Up to $90,000 per year, based on experience
