* Assist design team within assigned categories with CAD development.
* Prepare line sheets, sketches, construction details and bills of materials for tech pack development.
* Measure garments and record against issued specifications.
* Work with manager/senior designer to monitor and communicate product development timelines to meet customer deliveries.
* Issue sample cuts and follow through on samples to ensure they are received on time. Send/ ship samples as needed.
* Collaborate with product development team to resolve design and development issues.
* Assist in presentation of line to retail accounts, Customer Experience team and sales representatives.
* Maintain records/files of submits, lab dips, etc.
* Perform market research to stay on top of trends. Create style boards using market research.

**Experience:**
* 10+ years working within detention/correction. Strong knowledge of design for locks, hardware doors, frames, glazing, and detention equipment.
* Revit experience and/or BluBeam Revu are recommended but not mandatory.
**Responsibilities:**
* Assist with project design deliverables produced in Revit: drawings, details, schedules, etc.
* Develop and coordinate details required for project with floor plans and other drawing sheets.
* Create PDF files/ drawing sets. Maintain, update, and add to Revit Detail Library. Utilize MS Office Suite.
