Responsibilities will include
Prepares comprehensive layouts, mockups, proofs and copy for print reproduction according to instructions from clients through the sales team
Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied
Performs logo modification and sources high-quality digital files
Prepares files, included adding bleeds, crop marks, die-lines, hole locations, and other finishing file layers as required, archiving files upon completion for future use
Inspects all jobs for accuracy and quality before sending them to be produced
Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
Assists the production team on an as-needed basis
Qualifications
Associates or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience in graphicdesign / print production
Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
Knowledge of a variety of graphics programs and output devices such as vinyl plotters, large-format printers, laser engravers and CNC routers
Good math and proof-reading skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment (approximately 10 projects per day)
Exceptionally detail-oriented to ensure every part of a project comes out correctly the first time

Job Summary: The Assistant Designer is responsible for observing, training and learning the processes of both designing and manufacturing signs and other products. The purpose for the internship is to gain the skills to become a full-time, productive designer that can produce site-specific permit and production drawings.
Essential Functions:
Communicate and interact with other departments to ensure satisfactory design solutions
Communicate with sales staff, project managers, customer service representatives, estimators, and production staff to produce drawings for client approval and permit acquisition
Understand the project requirements, client needs, and all related information
Assist design staff in completing various tasks to bring each project assigned to fruition
Produce site specific presentation and permit drawings, as required, using computer aided design software, to illustrate concepts involved, in a manner that clearly represents the finished product, and allows staff or client representatives to fully understand the product
Present designs to staff for approval, and discuss need for modification
Modify and refine designs to conform with changes requested during the review process
Participate in continuous professional development in order to remain cutting edge
Observe all techniques being shown to you and implement them appropriately to maintain the design process and develop skills that can be used in broader projects during tenure with the company
Read industry related publications, study competing products, review new industry related product lines to obtain perspective and generate design concepts

Job Description
In this volunteer position you will be asked to create landscapes and building interiors for The Lays of Althas: Sundered Order (LoA:SO), based off concepts and layouts, in the Unreal Engine. We are still building a long list of assets; we expect our Level Designers to be resourceful with the assets they use. We also expect you to use various Houdini Tools that we've built, so Houdini is recommended, but not required. Blueprint Scripting and Quixel Megascans experience is also recommended.
Communication is key to a smooth and efficient pipeline. You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with other team-members. Don't be afraid to ask questions. We are an English-speaking team, so English fluency is a must. All of this is especially important for Level Designers as we expect them to communicate with 3D Artists letting them know assets that are still needed.
If you are comfortable with teaching, you may be called upon to aid the more junior members of the team in any relevant area.
Other duties include following team policies (given through team orientation as upon acceptance to the team) as well as attending meetings through Slack (our instant message program that we use to communicate).

Produce high-quality graphics and tailoring products to specifications, time, and budget. Perform appropriate measurements and calculations, make accurate prints, cuts, and tailoring to ensure desired results, smooth workflow, and satisfied customers.
Ensuring a Clean and Organized Workspace -
Ensure that the workspace is clean and organized, with all parts, components, tools, and machinery accounted for, organized, and well maintained. Perform regular housekeeping between projects.
Art Preparation -
Ensure art proof matches print-ready files. Verify quantities and critical alignment (notated in art proof). Load into Rip to verify size. Determine adjustments/finishing requirements.
Graphics Preparation & Assembly -
Gain a full understanding of the project before beginning execution. Communicate effectively with other departments and ensure all questions have been answered.
Pressing Fabric -
Transfer print from transfer paper to fabric cleanly and accurately.
Vinyl Application -
Apply vinyl to various substrates or structures cleanly and accurately.
Measurement and Calculation -
Measure structures and fabrics and calculate required cuts.
Material Cutting -
Make accurate cuts of materials to be tailored.
Sewing -
Produce accurate and high-quality sewn products.
Tailoring Installation/Assembly -
Assemble final product and verify specification match and quality check.
Instand Graphics Assembly -
Assemble instands that function properly and result in no issues with graphics fitting or hardware. Conduct quality control checks on final products.
Graphic Laminate Application -
Cleanly apply laminate to specifications with no errors.
Disassembly and Packing Graphic Builds -
Break down graphic builds, such as portables and banner stands, and pack properly and efficiently.
Assembly & Disassembly of Portable Modular Builds -
Assemble and dissassemble standard kitted products, from banner stands, to standard kitted products, up to 10x10 and above with an understanding of safety implications and show regulations.
Cross Collaboration with Manufacturing -
Be willing to assist manufacturing with builds larger than the portable modular programs.

Lee Design Intern - Male Denim
Kontoor Brands is currently seeking an Assistant Designer for our Lee Denim team. This position reports to the Designer and is responsible for supporting all design activities related to Lee Denim This person will support cross-functional work streams to drive new, trend right and innovative product consistent with the merchandising brief while staying true to the Brand DNA. Learning and gaining the foundations to become a strong designer, to understand the design process/efficiencies, and fully supports the design team in the day-to-day functions.
The Assistant Designer will provide administrative support to the Lee Denim team as it relates to tracking and processing lab dips with multi functional partners and global teams. This role will also assist with administrative tasks for fit sessions and prototype reviews for our Denim design team.
Responsibilities:
Assist Design team in the development and design of seasonal product lines and special projects. This includes designing and developing product lines to include fabric, trims, artwork, and overall style details.
Enter and track all virtual and physical prototypes.
Support team to build Design presentations and decks, and create and maintain Design cadsheets.
Develop and maintain Design Development Tracker.
Responsible for working with Designer to approve color labdips, strike-offs, and handlooms.
Research new trends, techniques, & fabrics through online and in store shopping trips.
Responsible for taking notes in proto and fit reviews and any other key milestone meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in apparel design, art, graphics or equivalent combination of experience preferred.
1 year professional experience and/or training in apparel design.
Important to have illustration skills - hand sketch and Illustrator capabilities, and good color sense.
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop knowledge/experience required.
Familiar with V-Stitcher/3D design - preferred but not required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs - as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Project Role: Summer Intern - Wrangler Design, Collaborations
This Design Intern role is a development opportunity intended for individuals aspiring to grow into an Assistant Designer position. The intern will support the Wrangler Design team throughout the design and development process while gaining hands-on exposure to how product is created, developed, and brought to market at a global apparel brand.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a Design Intern who is a go-getter, team player, and naturally curious. Someone who is eager to learn, excited to explore new ideas and new ways of working, and motivated to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative design environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, asks thoughtful questions, and is excited about building a strong foundation to grow into an Assistant Designer role.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the design team in the development of seasonal product lines and special projects.
Assist designers with Illustrator flats, simple CADs, and design updates as directed.
Help build and maintain seasonal design decks, presentations, and CAD sheets.
Enter and track virtual and physical prototypes and assist with maintaining design development trackers.
Support organization of samples, materials, and presentation assets.
Conduct trend, market, and consumer research to support seasonal storytelling and concept development.
Compile visual inspiration and competitive analysis materials.
Take notes in proto, fit, and key milestone meetings to support design execution.
Gain exposure to cross-functional partners including Merchandising, Product Development, and Technical Design.

Partner with the team during content planning to ensure timely alignment with tentpole events and seasonal priorities.
