The Department of the Air Force (DAF) is executing on a mission to transition from Base-centric IT services to an Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) model.This evolution will be executed in "waves" with the first wave focused on end-user services (Wave 1) and future waves which will focus on security operations, connect solutions, protect solutions, and compute and store solutions.The DAF has issued an initial blanket purchase agreement (BPA) for Wave 1 - End User Services, which is expected to be awarded in late August to mid-September 2022.

The DAF has determined that the initial wave of services that need to be delivered, in order to build a solid foundation for continued growth and transformation, are a robust Enterprise IT Service Management (EITSM) platform, modernized End User Devices, Device Software, Device Management, and responsive and efficient Enterprise and Local Help Desk Services.

Wave 1 will deliver an enterprise IT Service Management system and processes for the entire DAF to utilize, as well as set the foundation for future Waves and IT services. This will include a comprehensive IT storefront where all DAF employees will order IT services. Wave 1 will serve as the Enterprise Service Desk for all 800,000-plus users, supporting hundreds of different IT configurations, across 180+ locations across the world, making it one of the largest and most complex Service Desks in existence.

Wave 1 will transform End User Device services to enable the Airmen and Guardians to focus on global warfighting efforts.

This Job Requisition is in support of the Wave 1 BPA and is contingent upon an award of the Wave 1 BPA to Peraton.
Program Specific Job Responsibilities - Graphic Designer IV:


Supports our collaborative Transformation Roadmap for evolution of systems, products and services to the DAF and provides graphic design support for program wide needs.Produces graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, presentations, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets such as websites and CD-ROMs. Generates, manipulates, and integrates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video generated with automated tools into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs.


Peraton Standard Job Responsibilities - Graphic Designer/Illustrator III:


Assists in the preparation of presentation graphics and supports the development of contract deliverables and reports by developing and updating graphic presentations to improve the quality and enhance the usability of these documents.

Prepares visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts. Plans, analyzes, and creates original visual solutions to communications projects. Identifies the most effective way to get messages across in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques. Develops the overall layout and production design of magazines, newspapers, journals, corporate reports, and other publications. Uses perspective, isometric, orthographic, and schematic techniques to prepare technical and non-technical illustrations and line drawings for slide presentations, view graphics, reports, brochures, etc. Produces promotional displays, packaging, and marketing brochures for products and services, designs distinctive logos for products and businesses, and develop signs and signage systems for business and government. Develops material for Internet Web pages, interactive media, and multimedia projects. Gathers relevant information by meeting with clients, creative or art directors, and by performing own research. Prepares sketches or layouts-by hand or with the aid of a computer-to illustrate vision for the design.


Education and experience requirements:


BS with 9 years related experience or MS with 7 years related experience

Colorado Salary Minimum: $50,300
Colorado Salary Maximum: $122,100
