Job Summary
DeBra-Kuempel is seeking to fill an Automation Graphics Designer Co-Op position for the EMCOR Services Automated Controls Division in our Columbus, Ohio location. As a member of our team, you will work with our Automation Graphics team to help create floorplan graphics and mechanical equipment graphics that will be used in building automation systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in development of automation floor plan graphics (2D and 3D).
Assist in development of automation equipment graphics.
Assist Automation Graphics team with BAS site appearance improvements.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing a degree in the graphic design field .
In lieu of pursuing the above-mentioned degree, extensive comparable experience may be considered.
Basic understanding of graphic design programs, including but not limited to: Fireworks and Illustrator.
Understanding of Viewbuilder and EIKON is strongly preferred, but not .

The work environment for this position is a professional office setting. This role will primarily work at a desk using a computer and other standard office equipment such as a scanner, telephone, copier, and postage machine. This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks such as data entry, and occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach. The Videographer/Graphic Designer plays a leading role in creating compelling video content that brings our brand and our clients' stories to life. This position focuses primarily on videography - including shooting, editing, and producing a wide range of video materials such as interviews, commercials, drone footage, and b-roll. In addition, this role supports the marketing team with graphic design projects and visual assets as needed.

Essential Functions
Lead the creation and execution of video projects-from concept through final edit-including storyboarding, filming, and post-production.
Capture high-quality footage for marketing campaigns, social media, and internal communications.
Edit and produce videos that align with branding and storytelling goals.
Operate and maintain video, audio, lighting, and drone equipment.
Develop supporting graphic design materials such as advertisements, social media graphics, newsletters, invitations, and digital marketing assets.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive visuals across video and design mediums.
Assist with proofreading and ensure all deliverables meet branding and quality standards.
Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a strong team-focused attitude.
Maintain assigned work hours
Work with others in a team environment
Perform other tasks assigned by Director of Marketing
Ensures work completed is accurate and appropriate. Verifies and validates all data to confirm accuracy and reliability. Paying close attention to details of all information received and entered.
Assist clients from diverse industries
Skills and Abilities
3-5 years of experience in videography and editing, with strong design capabilities.
Proven ability to shoot, light, and edit high-quality video content.
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and After Effects required; experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite a plus.
Strong creative eye for composition, motion, and storytelling.
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.
Drone licensure and experience strongly preferred.
A passion for creative work that supports community and client success.
Education
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience
Drone Licensure & continuing certification

Responsibilities: As a Graphic Designer / Sign Production Specialist, you will:
Create computer-generated vinyl and/or full-color graphics for various applications.
Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction with the final product.
Work on a variety of projects, including signs, banners, window films, wall and floor graphics, and installations.
Prepare layouts, mockups, proofs, and copy for print reproduction.
Load materials onto printers, table routers, laser cutters, and engravers, potentially requiring heavy lifting.
Inspect all jobs for accuracy and quality before production.
Maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; advanced education degree preferred.
Experience in graphic design / print production using PC and Mac platforms.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
Familiarity with various graphics programs and output devices (vinyl plotters, large-format printers, laser engravers, and CNC routers).
Strong math, proofreading, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to lift 30 pounds.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
