Purpose: Develop clear direction of brand appropriate initiatives for paper and store collateral. Facilitate production processes of said materials. Work with team to continuously push Marketing components forward, while always holding brand positioning / messaging as highest priority. When needed, may work with digital team to produce marketing assets for our digital marketing channels (email, social, pacsun.com).
Core Accountabilities:

The Associate Designer is responsible for documenting all design work and communicating with factories overseas and domestically. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the designing commercially viable products, seasonal presentations with trend inspiration, silhouettes, fit, wash, embroidery, dry process, trims, color palettes and wash ranges
Research, design and develop raw materials, fabric, print development, graphic design and trim within the time and action calendar
Create and manage line sheets and tech packs including sketch, colorways, construction details, and complete bill of materials
Actively participate in fit sessions and update sketches and tech packs promptly with needed revisions
Communicate with sourcing partners/factories in regard to all details of the product by utilizing complete tech packs, commenting on lab dips, prints and graphics, hand looms, strike offs, and knit downs while meeting deadlines
Track all prototypes and pre-production samples utilizing the communication (WIPs) dates and calendars
Partner with vendors, designers and project management to ensure fabrics, design details, and garments are within cost parameters while providing value to the apparel collections
Assist with the hand off to the product manager (hand off final production tech packs, files, and approvals)
Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.

**As the Graphic Designer II, you will have an opportunity to:**
+ Design Strategy: Work closely with the marketing, branding, and product teams to understand project requirements, business objectives, and target audiences. Translate these insight into effective design strategies that align with the company's overall goals.
+ Conceptualization and Design: Create original and impactful designs across various mediums, including print, digital, social media, web, packaging, and other marketing collateral.
+ Develop design concepts that resonate with the brand identity and deliver the intended message to the target audience.
+ Brand Management: Ensure consistent application of the brand guidelines and visual identity across all design projects. Maintain brand integrity while exploring new design elements and styles that enhance the brands positioning. Manage the graphic design for product launch materials, paid performance ads, retail and in-store executions, and print advertisements. Internal/External communication graphics.
+ Project Management: Handle multiple design projects simultaneously, from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and the quality of deliverables is exceptional.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors as needed. Digital focus including emails, site assets, and landing pages.
+ Visual Content Creation: Design graphics, illustrations, infographics, and other visual elements that support marketing campaigns, social media strategies, presentations and various content formats.

**Pay Range:**
