We are looking for a Graphic Designer. As a member of our corporate design team, the Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling and impactful designs that advance our firm's strategic objectives. This role supports branding, business development, employee engagement, and recruitment efforts, among others, through the production of custom graphics, photography, and video. Working closely with the Graphic Design Manager and cross-functional teams. Creative Development
Design a wide range of creative assets and offer creative insights on a variety of internal and external initiatives and campaigns - including social media, email campaigns, project spotlights, direct mail, award showcases, recruiting collateral, branded merchandise, event/tradeshow materials and displays, infographics, motion graphics, and more.
Support photo and video needs, including scheduling, capturing, retouching, editing, and formatting for multiple platforms.
Assist with video editing, reel creation, audio editing, and other multimedia projects.
Collaboration & Communication
Partner with technical and non-technical teams to deliver high-quality visuals that support functional, strategic, and branding goals.
Participate in design reviews, incorporating feedback with attention to detail.
Provide input on workflow improvements and reusable templates.
Ability to work as a member of a team in a collaborative environment.
Asset & Production Management
Organize and maintain design libraries, templates, and creative assets to ensure version control and accessibility.
Prepare and export final files for print and digital distribution, meeting technical specifications.
Support ongoing requests to edit and resize photos or graphics for various applications.
Manage aspects of the employee photo process acrsoss offices, coordinatoring, sheculding, and retouching.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field required
Minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
Experience with a wide range of print and digital deliverables.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work and creativity.
Pay Range USD $70,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr. Members of our Digital Art/Design team produce artistically creative digital work for multi-channel modern marketing campaigns. AAFP campaigns focus on driving revenue and engagement for AAFP membership, education, events, conferences, products and other services. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
Provide graphic design and additional artistic services to support the operations of the Marketing Department focusing on logos, packaging, web design, printing, sales, photography, video, and legal compliance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensure company logos and color schemes are used consistently and correctly throughout all media
Delegate print and web design projects and provide direction to other Marketing team members
Provide design and content direction to outsourced marketing firms and videographers
Review resumes of potential new Marketing team members and assist HR with the interview process
Product Packaging
Conceptualize, design, and execute packaging for Splinteks products
Visit retail stores to research trends in package structure, content, and design to stay competitive in the category
Collaborate with our International customers to translate their verbiage on our packages and design their packages within the limitations of their country
Collaborate with printing vendors and thermoforming vendors to construct cartons and plastic clamshells for product packaging
Collaborate with the Chemistry department to ensure product packaging provides an adequate shelf life
Possess an understanding of Splinteks automated packaging machines and design packaging to function correctly and efficiently (carton erector, rotary heat sealer)
Locate and hire 3rd party packaging companies and define their scope of work
Generate original barcodes for Splinteks products using company software
Conceptualize, design, and execute product instruction sheets, brochures, coupons, sales sheets, tags, logos, envelopes, business cards, letterhead, etc.
Design point-of-purchase displays for retail spaces (shipper floor display, counter display)
Design signage and dcor for the tradeshow booth
Layout printed content and barcodes to be printed on corrugated boxes
Printing and Pre-press Production
Possess an understanding of vendors production processes (off-set, flexible, digital, foil stamp, die-cut)
Layout and prepare electronic files for pre-press accurately to save time, money, and prevent confusion in the print vendors pre-press department
Submit electronic files to print vendor
Ensure that each print job is free of mistakes by reviewing proofs and requesting select Splintek employees to proof-read and sign the proof
Attending select press checks to ensure the job is printed correctly
Check order upon delivery to Splintek to ensure it was produced correctly
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
