THE ROLE
Insomniac is seeking a seasonal GraphicDesigner to support signage production through strong typesetting and layout skills. This role reports to the Visual Communications Project Manager and is an in-office position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work directly with the Project Manager to intake project scope and produce accurate signage mock-ups for multiple departments.
Maintain frequent check-ins with the Project Manager to report task progress, flag issues, and adapt to changing priorities.
Execute print-ready file setup in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, ensuring precise layout, typography, spacing, alignment, bleed, and resolution standards are met.
Perform detailed quality control on all files, verifying typographic accuracy, scale, sizing consistency, and production specifications.
Manage multiple deliverables simultaneously while meeting tight internal deadlines in a fast-paced production schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in GraphicDesign preferred.
3+ years of professional experience in graphicdesign and typesetting
Strong proficiency in product and layout design.
Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as Google Workspace.
Print production experience is strongly preferred.
Experience manipulating and adapting existing artwork for production needs.
2+ years of experience in production, live events, or festival environments is a plus.
Must provide own laptop equipped with the latest versions of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Solid understanding of measurements, large-format design, and print production processes across various materials, including coroplast, dye-sublimation fabrics, banners, vinyl (dye-cut), truss socks, and grommeted signage.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail; ability to perform under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and take direction effectively.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines

The GraphicDesigner is responsible for managing all design projects including having and leading design meetings with all cross-functional departments. She/ he/they will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production of print jobs. The GraphicDesigner is responsible for maintaining brand deadlines and helping team(s) stay on deadlines. She/he/they must have a collaborative, can-do, positive, deadline-driven, and self-starter attitude. They need to demonstrate leadership and ownership of all design projects, demonstrate time and project management, and organization. The GraphicDesigner will work with internal departments to understand business objectives and create effective marketing collateral. The GraphicDesigner will proactively and responsively support the goals of the marketing and communications team, other internal departments, and external stakeholders using graphicdesign. The GraphicDesigner will contribute to creating high quality and error-free marketing materials. This position is primarily office-based and may require working outside of normal business hours to complete projects.

Your Role
