**SCOPE OF POSITION:**
The Architectural Design Intern will take real-world design challenges and use their creative vision and design skills to create product renderings/room layouts that incorporate Construction Specialties interior product solutions. The intern will complete formal product training and will have an opportunity to interview and collaborate with internal stakeholders to help inform their designs.
The intern will be guided by a creative brief as they create a series of full-color designs. Final designs may be used by our sales team during the consultative sales process, in social media and other opportunities. Selectek is partnering with a firm near Limerock, Pennsylvania to hire a Designer on a contract-to-direct basis. Candidates will create layouts of industrial equipment for a company that specializes in designing systems for manufacturing plants. Expected Pay Range: $30-$35 per hour
Location: Limerock, PA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p. Flexible start times available once candidates complete an orientation period, with core hours being 9:00a - 3:00p.
Job Duties:
- Design layouts for paint finishing equipment in 2d AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
- Work closely with the sales team to create the design so that the sales person can send it with the quote.
- Update drawing as well.
- Candidates will train to do materials estimation as well.
Job Requirements:
- BS Engineer Degree or 5 plus years of experience with associate degree
- AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience
- Experience in layout of equipment
- Knowledge of working with Sales Teams
- Develop a System Concept to meet process and equipment requirements and customer requirements
- Experience with Change orders
