What You'll Do:
Create custom Signage Designs and shop drawings and then watch them come to life in our production facility. Some of our most popular products are Building & Wall Signage, Monument & Pylon Signs, Interior Signage & Wayfinding, Vinyl Graphics & Wall Murals, Digital Signage, Neon & LED Neon Signage.
Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, and Clients to develop visuals that meet brand standards and city regulations.
Prepare production drawings for CNC routers, plotters, and large format printers.

Qualifications:
**At least one year of experience working with Adobe Illustrator is required for this role**
Current enrollment in Arizona State University's Herberger Institute for Design, Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business, or a college or university program related to marketing and/or graphic design. Must be a sophomore or above.
Basic photography, image and video editing through programs like InShot or CapCut, and graphic design skills
Basic knowledge of Adobe Cloud, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Express
Basic knowledge of social media content creation (photo/video) and platforms for Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok. Knowledge of social media trends is an added bonus.
Experience with creative writing and/or marketing content development

TECHLITE is a Tempe, AZ-based manufacturing company that specializes in producing melamine foam for insulation and acoustic products. We're looking for a talented Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator to join our team at our facility in Tempe, AZ. We're a subsidiary of The Zippertubing Company, a privately held, family-owned company.
Position Overview:
As a Graphic Designer, you will primarily focus on graphic design tasks, but you will also support various general marketing activities. This role requires someone with strong graphic design skills and a willingness to learn and contribute to other marketing efforts such as SEO, blog creation, Google Ads, and more.
Natural Skills/Abilities
The Graphic Designer must demonstrate cognitive ability to follow directions and routines, work independently with appropriate judgment, exhibit spatial awareness, read words and numbers, concentrate, memorize, and recall, identify logical connections, and determine the sequence of response and process up to 2-3 steps ahead. Ability to attend work on a regular, predictable, and consistent basis to commute to and from work safely and arrive at work on time to either location. This position requires regular servicing of both the Tempe and Chandler divisions. Time spent traveling between locations is compensable at your regular rate of pay. Mileage reimbursement is not available for travel between locations for regular servicing.
This is a full-time exempt position for creative professionals who use creativity and imagination to conduct independent research to achieve desired outcomes for our audience.
The Graphic Designer will report to the Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Create visually appealing graphics for various marketing materials, including but not limited to, social media posts, email campaigns, website content, advertisements, and presentations.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and designs that align with the company's brand and marketing objectives.
Assist in the implementation of SEO strategies to improve the company's online visibility and drive traffic to the website.
Manage Google Ads campaigns, including keyword research, ad creation, and performance tracking.
Support the marketing team in coordinating and executing promotional activities, events, and campaigns.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design and marketing to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our marketing materials.
Provide design support to other departments as needed, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Proven experience (5+ years) in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design work in both print and digital applications.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other graphic design tools.
Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, PPC, and content marketing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
Eagerness to learn and grow in both graphic design and marketing disciplines.
Experience with 3D rendering, video editing, and large flatbed printers (e.g., Canon Arizona 1360 GTF) is a plus, but not required.

Environment / Physical Demands:
As part of this job, the candidate can anticipate working in an office with multiple occupants, attending virtual team meetings, and visiting customers in person as needed. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate. Standard office equipment like computers, phones, and photocopiers will be used regularly. There may be times when the candidate will need to report to our Chandler facility for training and meetings during the workday. The position involves sitting, talking and, hearing throughout the 8-10-hour shift. Physical Demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a step ladder or climb stairs as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 40 pounds.
