Responsibilities * Report on project progress and issues to Lead Electrical Designers * Apply engineering codes at national and local levels * Develop and review 3D models and plan drawings for electrical deliverables * Create schematics, one-line drawings, and concept sketches from engineering inputs * Maintain and organize master drawing sets, revisions, and originals * Complete as-built documentation using RFI forms, ECNs, and red-marked drawings * Participate in project meetings and collaborate with design team members * Check designs for consistency, safety, operability, and maintenance requirements * Resolve comments from checked drawings and update electrical cable schedules * Model electrical components from vendor submittals and electrical designs * Support project development with miscellaneous technical tasks Qualifications * Pursuing an Associate's, Vocational, or Bachelor's degree in Design & Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, Design, or a related field * Experience with 3D programs such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, AutoCAD MEP, or Navisworks, and familiarity with the latest operating systems * Ability to visualize and conceptualize in a 3D environment * Proficient in email communication and electronic meeting requests, as well as spreadsheets, databases, and PDF software * Capable of professionally representing Kiewit to owners, contractors, vendors, and external contacts * Must be a US citizen with documentation for badge access * Pass a security questionnaire and background check appropriate to position duties Other Requirements: * Regular, reliable attendance * Work productively and meet deadlines timely * Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. * Perform work safely and effectively.
