Job Description
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Graphic Designer helps raise Case Western Reserve's stature as a leading national research university by serving as a creator of visual materials across multiple digital and print vehicles. This individual will excel in developing compelling visual approaches that help inform, educate and inspire constituencies within and well beyond the campus. The graphic designer will produce these works in close collaboration with project managers, editors, and others to ensure that all university projects comply with brand requirements, achieve the highest standards for design and visual presentation, and meet the goals of the individual piece(s). This individual also will employ exceptional interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with University Marketing and Communications (UMC) colleagues, university clients and commercial suppliers. This individual will demonstrate a passion for design excellence and willingness to stretch creatively to produce works that are as appealing as they are effective. The graphic designer will possess strong strategic and critical thinking skills, and apply them in engagement with clients and colleagues, brainstorming of concepts, execution, revision and final delivery of results. Finally, this individual will keep current regarding evolving and emerging trends in visual communication as well as relevant technological advances.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Design visually compelling digital and print materials, adhering to strict brand guidelines. Collaborate in the development of such materials with the Art Director, Creative Director and colleagues. Develop designs that advance articulated institutional goals, recognizing that individual artistic or aesthetic preferences must always be secondary. (40%)
* Manage assigned projects to ensure timely completion of work that reflects well on the division and university; including recognition of potential and/or unexpected hurdles (as well as options to overcome them and adjust schedules in response). Execute the logistical and technological demands of preparing materials for online presentation (i.e. online ads and publications), as well as file preparation for printers. (30%)
* Communicate strategy, its rationale and its components to raise awareness within and beyond UMC staff regarding the importance of including visual elements in all communications. (10%)
* Build, maintain and organize creative files, server structures and execute filing solutions. (10%)
NONESSENTIAL FUNCITONS
* Welcome constructive critiques as opportunities to learn and develop as a professional. Understand that revisions of proposed design elements may be necessary to meet institutional imperatives, even when these elements hold aesthetic appeal in the abstract. (5%)

QUALIFICAITONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience; OR Associate's degree and 5 years of experience. Experience should involve content-driven design and storytelling.

REQUIRED SKILLS
* Ability to work with such Adobe Creative Suite programs as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as evident execution of their current capabilities.
* Experience with After Effects and fast-paced agency environment a plus.
* Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-moving, outcomes-oriented environment.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute compelling print and digital projects, including brochures, magazines, editorial designs, digital ads, animations, social media graphics, and marketing campaigns, while adhering to strict brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively pitch new content ideas, scripts, and creative concepts.
Marketing & Campaign Support
Develop visual assets for digital campaigns, podcast episodes, webinars, product launches, and events.
Assist with email marketing visuals (headers, GIFs, thumbnails).
Support landing pages, funnels, and promotional content creation.
Repurpose long-form assets (podcast clips, interviews, webinars) into short-form content.
Technical Skills & Equipment Experience
Experience operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, wireless/shotgun mics, and audio gear.

Summary
The United States based Decision Tree Scheduling Designer is responsible for analyzing scheduling workflows within Epic Cadence, translating operational requirements into accurate, user-friendly scheduling decision trees, and ensuring all logic aligns with client expectations, Epic standards, and internal quality guidelines. This role focuses exclusively on scheduling-based decision trees and requires strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, along with Epic certification.

Key Duties:
Analyze patient scheduling workflows to identify required logic pathways.
Design and maintain scheduling-focused decision trees within Epic Cadence.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client SMEs to gather requirements and validate workflows.
Translate operational guidelines-including Epic Cadence workflows-into clear, structured logic.
Utilize approved tools to create, update, and optimize decision tree logic.
Conduct branch-level testing to identify errors, inefficiencies, or missing steps.
Maintain documentation, changelogs, and version control for all logic updates.
Partner with Training and QA to ensure decision trees support accurate agent performance.
Provide support during Go-Live, Grad Bay, and stabilization, troubleshooting logic issues as needed.
Ensure workflows comply with HIPAA, client standards, and internal quality requirements.
Identify opportunities to streamline scheduling processes and improve agent efficiency.
Maintain communication with Operations, PMO, IT, and client partners regarding updates, risks, and required changes.
Support post-Go-Live workflow adjustments to maintain accuracy as client needs evolve.

Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience designing scheduling decision trees or workflow logic.
MUST be Epic Cadence certified and hold the Epic Decision Tree Badge.
Comfortable leading design session meetings and presenting to groups including physicians, directors, and client leadership.
Ability to travel periodically for client meetings, onsite workflow validation, or training sessions.
Experience with workflow design, process mapping, or logic modeling.
Familiarity with healthcare scheduling operations preferred.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and client teams.
Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced, Northeast Ohio PCB Layout candidates to apply for the role of PCB Layout Designer.
The PCB Layout Designer (AKA PCB / CAD Designer) will play a critical role in the execution of PCB layout. The role will primarily entail close collaboration with clients, electrical engineers, and other NS team members to produce detailed layouts of printed circuit boards and supporting documentation for production using CAD (Altium, PADS, Xpedition, etc.) software.
Essential Functions
● Libraries management, PCB Layout, component placement review and approval
● Develop PCB layout solutions
● Leads PCB layout reviews (Including high speed feedback, e.g. crosstalk analysis and best practice strategies)
● Work with cross-functional product development teams in supporting product development
● Maintain PADS libraries
● Keeping up to date on latest PCB material, layer construction, manufacturing guidelines, and implementing into design as applicable
● Electronic components selection and qualification through collaboration with the engineering team
● Create engineering documentation that allows the manufacturing of PCBAs, including schematics, bills of materials, assembly drawings
● Working in a multi-disciplinary team, consisting of electrical hardware and mechanical engineers
● Participate in periodic departmental and program meetings to ensure continuity and cohesion amongst the team
● Demonstrate the ability to respect and support colleagues at all levels. Consistently contribute to a positive work environment for all associates. Mentor junior associates, as appropriate
Competencies or Experience Requirements
Mandatory
Minimum of 5 years of relevant career experience
Advanced proficiency in CAD-related software (Altium, PADS, Xpedition, and others if possible)
