Role & Responsibilities
Proof, pre-flight, and prepare final catalog files for print.
Provide layout/production of art files.
Complete edits assigned to Production during proofing process.
Responsible for Font and Image curation, storage, and inventory.
Create digital and print artwork.
Approve graphics, fonts, layouts, and other creative choices.
Archive digital and print files in our system.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with all policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience or a solid portfolio with pre-press pieces
1-3 years as a Production Assistant or Coordinator in an advertising agency or in-house marketing team
Familiar with image compression, file correction and optimization techniques
Excellent working knowledge of pre-press, high-end print production process, and principles of typography
Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient with latest version of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PDF Proofing
Knowledge of the printing process and the ability to create files correctly for press is essential (Example: bleeds, PDF proofing, spot and 4- color process)
Proficient in a Mac environment
Comfortable working in long form design format (large, multi-page designs)
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Manage own project workflow while coordinating with project teams and management on schedules, requirements, goals and assignments as needed

Job Summary
The Architectural Products Designer serves as Insidesource's subject matter expert on architectural products, partnering closely with New Business Development, Sales, and Project Management teams to deliver successful wall solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Use CET software to create wall layouts for commercial projects from initial budgetary development to specifications, shop drawings and final installation plans

Support the Insidesource sales teams in their efforts to win demountable wall business by being a technical resource in conversations with end users, Designers and General Contractors

As a Gensler Designer, your job will be to combine creativity and technical knowledge to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You have exceptional design skills, a background in interiors or architecture, and a portfolio of innovative design concepts. You will collaborate with our broader design team to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You will be successful because you already know how to translate an architect's sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models and images, and can research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise. What You Will Do
* Collaborate on projects to hone your skills in programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
* Brainstorm interior architecture approaches to meet the Clients' needs
* Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
* Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
* Collaborate within our team structure to deliver the best work for our Clients
* Partner with product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators to develop a knowledge of finishes and furniture
* Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
* Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples
* Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
Your Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school
* 2-5 years of interior design project experience
* Outstanding graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas throughout the process. Portfolios should include well organized examples of design work during school as well as relevant finish palates, test fitting, working visualizations, and design documentation completed during internships or previous positions
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, and Revit highly preferred
* Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
* Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices

The base salary will be estimated between $72,000 - $82,000 annually plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
