Made Possible.** **Role** + In accordance with company policies and procedures, work to ensure quality cartons are produced, machine speeds and customer standards are maintained safely. **Responsibilities** + Knowledge and experience with operating Bobst Die Cutters 145 and 162. + Responsible for press make ready: adjust press to accommodate for new product sheets being cut (set feeder, lock up die, set stripper, blanker, and delivery). + Be able to set guides, feeders and load dies (weighing approx. 150 lbs.) into cutting press with assistance. + Inspect quality of each load run: responsible for checking random sheets from each cut load to ensure high quality standards. + When cutting problems are encountered, the Operator is to flag and isolate poorly produced materials (all defective loads are to be tagged). + Operator is to make proper corrections before continuing the order. + Must be able to perform Pre-Make ready and Die-Prep duties + Maintain written records of production. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the entire facility; all property and equipment. Duties include but are not limited to: Coordinate the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of production or processing machines and equipment with minimal downtime. Involves checking, setting up, and operating various types of production tools and equipment prior to approving for production use. Included maintaining the building and grounds. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks Report to General Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant as soon as it becomes known. Must fully understand and utilize I-Maintenance for managing the maintenance process and systems in the facility. Monitor warranties and service guarantees. Notify personnel of impending expiration dates. Conduct selective inventory monthly and verify with a computerized inventory of maintenance parts and supplies. Has full responsibility for preventative maintenance programs for all equipment in the plant and for all building and grounds maintenance. Take utility meter readings and record usage in computer. Locate O.E.M. manufacturers and after-market distributors in order to obtain competitive costs on parts or improved service. Order parts and supplies. Oversee bar code scanning of parts inventory. The Structural Designer is responsible for the creation of cost-effective, structurally sound traditional and protective packaging as well as point-of-purchase (POP) display solutions. This role includes redesigning elements for improved cost, performance, and functionality while providing technical support to internal teams (Sales, Project Management, Graphic Design, Production, Fulfillment Services) and clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in packaging design, a solid understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, and proficiency in design tools such as ArtiosCAD.
