The purpose of the nurse in schools is to facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety; intervene with actual and potential health problems; provide case management services; and actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation, self-management, self-advocacy, and learning. This temporary position will specifically cover the nursing needs of a nursing dependent student. The nurse will be responsible for the care of the student from bus pick up to drop off.
