1981

In 1981, Gray & Company was acquired by an ownership group led by James G. Reynolds.

1992

In 1992, Gray & Company acquired the Queen Anne brand of cordial cherries from Hershey.

2000

In 2000 the firm launched Gray Private Wealth, LLC (formerly Gray Equity Management, LLC) an independent personal financial advisory firm, to help clients and others with tailored asset management and investment strategies.

2006

In January of 2006, Gray & Company sold Queen Anne to World's Finest Chocolate, returning the brand to its roots as a Chicago confection.

2008

In 2008, C. Joseph Ciccarello became Managing Partner of the firm and his steady hand helped both the firm and our clients thrive throughout a global recession.

2018

In 2018, Jim DeLeo assumed the mantle of Leading Partner, with a clear vision for growth and expansion of the firm in the decades ahead.
