The 3rd Shift Client Support Specialist (CSS) is an essential member of the Shelter Operations and Client Support Team. Key Responsibilities
Shelter Safety & Overnight Support
Maintain a consistent and calm presence throughout the shelter during overnight hours.
Conduct routine shelter walk-throughs to observe safety, cleanliness, or emotional concerns.
Monitor interior and exterior doors/gates to ensure secure access.
Respond to client needs, emotional concerns, or disturbances using de-escalation and trauma-informed practices.
Notify supervisors or on-call staff of any safety concerns or major incidents.
Facility Oversight & Documentation
Complete assigned overnight tasks, including documentation of walk-throughs, incident reports, supply needs, and helpline calls.
Assist with light cleaning tasks, supply restocking, or room readiness preparation as needed.

The IT Intern will support the Information Technology department by assisting with the maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment and provides opportunities to learn and contribute to various projects, including system updates, help desk support, and IT infrastructure improvements.
Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Tasks and training will consist of:
First-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and networking issues.
Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
Support routine maintenance of IT systems, including software updates, backups, and hardware checks.
Help maintain inventory of IT equipment, including tracking and organizing hardware and software assets.
Document technical issues, resolutions, and procedures for future reference.
Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of an Associates or Bachelors degree program with a regionally accredited institution.
Must be pursuing or graduated with a degree in computer science, informatics, mathematics, cyber security, or a related field.
A minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale at the time the application is submitted.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Valid Driver's License.

Diligence must be exercised when handling confidential information.
Reasonable care for equipment/process will prevent injury/damage.
Working Conditions
Physical Demand - Little physical effort required. Some light lifting, carrying, walking, standing, pushing, pulling, stooping and kneeling requirements necessary up to 40% of the time. Sitting required 60% of the time.
Mental and or Visual Demands - Mental and visual demands vary with function performed. Consistent mental attention needed to monitor workflow and respond efficiently.
Attentiveness to work procedures will reduce risk of minor injury in certain work areas.
Exposed to normal office environment and limited industrial environment.
Other Requirements
Must be able to complete and pass a background investigation, drug screening, and physical examination as per Federal, State, and GSP Airport District requirements.
