I enjoyed the learning and growth opportunities that were present in the work environment along with the encouragement, patience, dedication, and open-mindedness of a few of my coworkers. I loved working on cars and learning the service codes on every order. Cleaning up the shop may have been quite the task after a particular busy day/s of the week, but it was so rewarding to see the fruits of my labor by the end of it. By far my favorite job so far, and I look forward to furthering my growth and knowledge in the field.
I did not enjoy the seemingly constant shift in management in the shop and overall company ladder as it appeared like the higher ups were struggling to make up their minds on how to run their business and the policies that follow it. Perhaps taking the time to train their new employees/managers on how to run the shop, sales, and procedures with a consistent and equal amount would have benefited the company overall.
My favorite perk was getting to communicate and gain knowledge from my coworkers, customers, and management as it gave me the tools to further my career in this field, even earning me the title of Assistant Manager six months into the job.
The people I worked with, the majority of the costumers were cool, saw some nice cars, learned some useful things
They were in transition and it has not been a clean/smooth at all.
