The Imaging Educator is responsible for the oversight, organization and management of onboarding all new technologists, to include regular staff, travelers and students, into the Bozeman Health organization for all imaging modalities in collaboration with modality supervisors. In this role, the Educator will maintain well organized documentation for each staff member to represent departmental orientation, competencies and professional development. Responsibilities will include participation in and collaboration with educational programs with whom Bozeman Health has affiliate agreements, which may require travel. The Educator will be expected to maintain their own competency in basic radiographic techniques in order to support department operations for patient care as may be needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required
Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology Program.
Associates degree in Allied Health or related field.
Montana Licensure (Radiology Technologist).
American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire.
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging services.
