Job Description
Provides direct care for patients in the hospital from admission to discharge in all aspects of care including discharge planning. The Inpatient RN provides medical, pre and post- op surgical care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Exceptional customer service and effective communication skills are mandatory. Flexibility to work with a diverse and changing census is mandatory.
Qualifications
Current State of Montana RN Licensure. BLS and ACLS certifications required. PALS certification preferred;
2-4 years of recent hospital experience, with emphasis in
Medical/Surgical or Critical Care Nursing

Works at a clinical research site under the direction of a principal investigator or sub-investigator. All activities are conducted under Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines. Ensures informed consent and all pre-treatment and eligibility requirements of protocols have been met prior to patient registration.

Job Responsibilities
Monitor patients with moderate to high acuity needs, including cardiac, respiratory, and post-surgical conditions.
Interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes.
Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as ordered by physicians.
Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring effective communication and continuity of care.
Document patient assessments, interventions, responses, and care plans accurately and timely.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Assist in the implementation of emergency interventions and respond promptly to deteriorating conditions.
Qualifications
Active RN license in good standing.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
