1978

Imlay City – Established in 1978 to serve the health needs of migrant farmworkers in Lapeer, St Clair, and Macomb counties.

1984

Janes St – Established in 1984 to serve the health needs of residents in Saginaw; largest GLBHC site offering primary care, specialty, and ancillary services.

1988

Mobile Medical Services – Mobile medical services were established in 1988 to serve the health needs of migrant farmworkers at various locations throughout the GLBHC service area.

1994

Current site established 1994.

1997

Roosevelt S. Ruffin – Established in 1997 to serve the health needs of residents in Saginaw.

2001

Wolverine – Outer Drive – Established in 2001 to serve the health needs of adolescent site residents.

2002

Hearth Home – Established in 2002 to provide HIV testing, education, and prevention activities in Saginaw and other nearby counties.

2004

David R. Gamez – Established in 2004 to serve the health needs of residents in Saginaw.

2006

Current site established in 2006.

2009

2009 - UGL becomes an FQHC look-alike.

2013

2013 - UGL adds 6 new clinics in Houghton County

2014

Thumb Area – Established in 2014 to serve the health needs of residents in Huron, Tuscola, and Sanilac counties.

2014 - Ontonagon Community Health Center and Menominee Family Health Center join UGL.

2015

Old Town – Established in 2015 to serve the health needs of residents in Saginaw.

2015 - UGL provides oral health care services at the Sawyer Family Health Center in Gwinn

2018

Davenport – Established in 2018 to serve the integrated health care needs of residents in Saginaw.

2019

Washington Elementary School – Established in 2019 to serve the behavioral health needs of Washington Elementary School students in Bay City.

2020

2020 - UGL adds the Marquette Family Health Center
