Description We are looking for the best Dispatcher! We are seeking a Dispatcher to support daily service operations by coordinating technicians, scheduling service calls, and serving as a primary point of contact for customers. This role is essential to keeping field service operations running smoothly, ensuring work orders are accurate, technicians are supported, and customers receive timely service. Essential Functions:
Schedule and dispatch service technicians using the latest in dispatching software
Create, update, and manage service work orders, including notes, billing details, equipment information, and generate service quotes or estimates to send to customers
Communicate throughout the day with technicians regarding schedules, job status, and changes
Answer service-related calls and assist customers with scheduling and equipment intake
Greet customers and ensure equipment is properly tagged for repair
Manage incoming and outgoing UPS shipments and related documentation
Ensure parts and components are properly stored or attached to service work orders
Perform general office duties such as scanning, filing, and handling daily mail
Participate in an on-call rotation by receiving third-party calls and emailing details to on-call technicians
Follow all safety policies and accident prevention procedures
Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Branch Manager
Responsibilities of the Position:
Non-supervisory position reporting to the Branch Manager
Dispatch decisions directly impact technician efficiency, customer satisfaction, and service quality
Requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Two years of education and/or experience in HVAC, plumbing, or field service dispatching preferred
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Safety-focused mindset
Comfortably operate computers and office equipment.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Must be at least 18 years old. Physical Demands:
Primarily, work in a typical office environment.
Light lifting of office equipment, supplies, and boxes may be needed.
A mix of sitting, walking, and standing throughout your day.

An ISA/CSR (Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative) serves as a key liaison between customers and the internal cross-functional teams, ensuring strong customer relationships, rapid issue resolution, and long-term account success. This role manages critical customer escalations-such as churn risks, expedite requests, and line-down situations-while also driving strategic initiatives, including new product launches, quarterly client reviews (QCRs), and sales opportunity execution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Serve as the primary liaison for critical customer conversations, including service failures, line-down situations, missed deliverables, or churn threats.
Support and execute customer growth initiatives, including support on quoting, upselling opportunities, and alignment with sales teams to convert pipeline to orders.
Acquire a sound understanding of GLI's product & service offerings and the ability to translate that into success for our customers.
Lead and coordinate recovery plans to mitigate risk & restore trust in pressure situations.
Implement GLI's procurement, operations, and pricing strategies for new and existing customers to increase profitability.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts, providing feedback to optimize internal processes and customer experiences
Monitor client health metrics and proactively address churn risks through early interventions and relationship-building
Support new product launches and major changes by aligning expectations, coordinating resources, procuring material, and ensuring smooth delivery to clients.

Education: Bachelor's degree with relevant experience also considered
