Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
The Ticketing & Box Office Representative position is an on-call and hybrid position, requiring both onsite and remote work. The Ticketing and Box Office Representative position is tasked with accurately handling inquiries, concerns, and ticket sales from guests via telephone, email, webchat, social media, or other communication channels. Whether on the phone or in person at the Box Office, the Ticketing and Box Office Representative is usually the first point of contact for guests at TSC and is expected to exemplify our values in all interactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responding to calls and emails via work-provided equipment
Working in the Box Office around the performance schedule, assisting guests with ticket sales, Will Call pickup, and resolving other ticket-related last-minute issues cheerfully, quickly, and efficiently
Responds to guest inquiries and ticket-related requests via live help (by telephone, through online communication tools, and in person);
Listens to understand the guest's needs and responds quickly, accurately, and politely.
Provides closed-loop communication with the guest, always striving to resolve open issues and providing clear timelines for communication on follow-up items.
Demonstrates empathy for the guest and a sense of urgency to assist in resolving their concerns.
Proactively diffuses and rectifies difficult ticket-related situations.
Represents TSC as an ambassador and guest liaison.
Escalates guest service issues as appropriate.
Communicates accurate information, verbally and in writing.
Keeps abreast with current TSC-related events.
Works closely with various TSC departments, creating an environment of service excellence.
Upselling and cross-selling events as designated
Assists management with special projects.
Required to attend department staff meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
Required Education, and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
3 or more years of customer service experience.
Previous experience with handling high-volume transactions in a fast-paced environment
Inbound and outbound call center experience is preferred.
Previous experience in data entry
3 or more years of experience handling monetary transactions.
Previous experience with remote work is preferred.

As a Public Area Attendant, you will set the stage for our patron experience with your welcoming smile and service. It is the primary responsibility of the Public Area Attendant to maintain the quality and cleanliness in our venues, public areas, offices, and other required areas to the highest standards of excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Cleaning of restrooms, lobbies, elevators, and the interior of the property, and maintaining adequate stock of supplies.
Cleaning of all levels of the public areas and all equipment.
Maintain the cleanliness of back-of-house areas.
Complete special projects /cleaning details
Follow procedures for picking up trash, and emptying ash urns in the interior and exterior of the property.
Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition, cleaning restrooms, performer's rooms, windows, floors, elevators, interior and exterior, maintaining adequate stock of supplies.
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures, checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.

Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets) as required.

ROLE of the POSITION
Reporting to the Associate Director of Facilities & Operations, the Event Operations Manager oversees all internal event-related operations for events held within Student Union & Event Services (SUES) managed and operated facilities as contracted between SUES and clients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Managing operations and staffing budgets including projecting operational needs, approving purchases, monitoring spending, & making recommendations to the Associate Director for capital projects/expenditures and equipment replacement schedules Responsible for all AV and equipment set-ups within the student union (30+ spaces), outdoor venues (10+ locations), and various locations around campus (ex: TAC, FND) as contracted for 1000+ events annually Developing, proposing, and implementing policies and procedures for the event operations area Ensuring the event operations area is in compliance with departmental and university policies as well as fire/life/occupational safety, security and risk management requirements Responsible for the overall setup, operation, and strike of event equipment such as AV, tables, chairs, dance floors, trashcans, and other SUES' equipment as well as outside vendor's rental equipment. Serve as lead facilitator for pre-production and weekly scheduling meetings for SUES team and campus partners (ex: Dining Services) (20+ staff) to review upcoming events for accuracy, edits, communication and implementation Conduct daily venue walkthroughs to ensure equipment is set-up and/or stored properly and organized. Monitor daily event and client needs and provide on-site event assistance, particularly for large-scale campus evens (ex: Homecoming, Festival of Communities) Coordinating an effective maintenance work order system and managing improvement projects, maintaining accurate equipment inventory and administering replacement programs as budget permits for Event Operations Manage and identify areas for growth within the SUES' equipment loan and check-out programs for UNLV clients (RSOs, departments, faculty/staff) Responsible for managing SUES' equipment rental needs for both internal and external clients, ensuring accuracy, coordinating delivery and pick-up, and processing invoices against PO's.
This position is responsible for the direct supervision of the full time Event Operations Coordinator & Event Technology Coordinator; The Graduate Assistant for Event Operations & Technical Services; And indirectly supervises 60-70 student staff. Responsibilities include hiring, training, evaluation, and daily supervision.
Evening & weekend work is required, along with the ability to provide 24/7 emergency on-call response as necessary (on call response within 30 minutes).

Job Description
The Great Basin College Learning Commons is seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to serve as a Part-Time Proctor. This position plays a key role in supporting academic integrity by overseeing testing sessions for students across the GBC service area. In addition to in-person exam proctoring, the candidate must be willing to proctor on-site at the Elko campus using Zoom.
This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, a calm and professional demeanor, and a strong comfort level with technology and troubleshooting on multiple software platforms. The successful candidate will contribute to a secure, supportive testing environment for students and uphold institutional testing protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor a variety of exams, including placement tests, makeup exams, third-party certifications, and other institutional assessments.
Proctor exams in person at the Elko campus and virtually via Zoom for students across GBC's statewide service area.
Ensure the integrity of the testing environment by following established guidelines and procedures.
Verify student identities, explain exam rules, and ensure proper test accommodations are provided.
Set up and troubleshoot technical issues related to Zoom, webcams, screen sharing, and testing platforms and offer solutions for issues and provide direction to other sources if problems arise.
Maintain accurate records and incident reports related to test administration.
Participate in training and periodic updates regarding testing procedures, technology, and compliance requirements.
Assist with other Learning Commons duties as assigned, such as scheduling exams and answering student inquiries.
Required Qualifications::
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Technological proficiency, especially with Zoom, screen sharing, email, and web-based platforms.
