Job Responsibilities Reporting to the Manager - Network and Security, the Network Support Engineer, a technical resource will be responsible for the following: Provide L2 and L3 hardware and technical support for network and security-related incidents. Design network diagrams, business flow charts, physical, logical, topology-based diagrams and related documentation Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, access points, VPNs, and related devices. Manage and administer IT assets including security cameras, drones, access readers, laptops, printers, plotters, and Wi-Fi access points. Industrial Wire-less and Radio Frequency (RF) support. Should have experience in data migration, server configuration, Cabling and Physical Layer Management, Maintaining NAS/SCSI, SANS, High Density Switching, Provisioning and Decommissioning, Operational Tech (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Monitor and Matrix, analyze logs, antivirus, security alerts, and packet captures to determine root causes of issues. Collaborate with networking and security teams to implement fixes and preventive measures. Participate in on-call or after-hours support rotation as needed. Skills and Qualifications Minimum 3-7 years of hands-on experience with excellent communication skills. Hands-on server and end-user supporting network operations, preferably within an industrial environment. Excellent in designing network diagrams and documentation. Solid knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs. Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and general network security principles. Proficiency with command-line tools and scripting (Linux, Bash, PowerShell). Ability to support and manage application servers, databases, intranet systems, MS O365, SharePoint and legacy applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Education Master's degree in computer science, IT, or related discipline Physical Requirements Ability to work in both mining and plant environments, including exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions. Capability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, inspecting equipment, and navigating uneven terrain. Salary $93,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
