What you'll do:
The Clerk will support Eaton's Shipping and Receiving department in all aspects and functions related to shipping and receiving including but not limited to; re-enforcement of processes and procedures as they relate to shipping/receiving, safety in the shipping process and area, data collection, data reporting, data storage, packaging and shipment services for Non-Prototype domestic and foreign shipments including mail and internal delivery of received packages.
In this function, you will:
* Supports shipping and receiving department including but not limited to; picking, packing, putaway, processes/procedures (Safety and Operation), data collection and reporting, data storage, and receiving / shipment / delivery of product and material, including mail.
* Provide shipping/receiving coverage and support during core business hours (typically 6:00 am - 2:30 pm) and overtime hours as necessary on short notice. The operation of Dallas Eaton Fork trucks will be part of this responsibility after completing training, evaluation and issuance of Operator license.
* Candidate must be able and willing to consistently take responsibility to professionally communicate with their immediate team, other Eaton employees and vendors.
* Familiar with freight standards for both domestic and foreign shipment and receipt. Works closely with Logistics Lead to keep up to date with all Eaton governing shipments.
* Responsible for working with EHS department to assure any shipping/receiving requirements related to worldwide Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) are followed.
* Exhibit teamwork in all you do, maintaining a positive and team-based attitude. Support peers in times of high demand by working hours assigned and overtime as required; also comply with scheduled start/stop times and break periods for the facility
* Use appropriate lift assist or partner lift when moving material/products. May lift and carry up to 35 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs
* Cross-train and flex or stand in for other employees/job functions when necessary
* Provide temporary supervision as required if Supervisor or Lead is away - of limited time duration
* Perform inventory cycle counts as needed
* Responsible for all documentation related to incoming shipments and any outgoing shipments initiated by candidate and for the accurate and timely (daily) entry of required information into the appropriate electronic tracking, shipping and storage systems per accounting and finance policy including but not limited to Oracle. This includes semi-autonomous 'receipt' of goods in WMS based upon generated PO Receipts.
* Participate in OJT and safety team.
* Assist and participate in continuous improvement activities or event
* Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools, and work area clean and orderly by performing 5-S duties and continued dedication to raising the bar
* Supply support to department Leads and Supervisors with day to day activities
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum 6 Months experience with Forklift/ Cherry Picker/ Reach Truck/ Stand Up Forklift
* Minimum One year experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) programs.

The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do.
Maintains a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone. Maintains clutter free, clear egress to emergency exits. Immediately corrects or reports any unsafe conditions or practices to Store Leadership.
Treats all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; is friendly and professional at all times. Recognizes fellow Associates using Company recognition programs.
Assists Customers in any way necessary - is register-trained, assists Customers with merchandise, and answers Customer questions in a polite and knowledgeable manner. Greets all Customers by making eye contact, smiling and saying “hello” throughout the Store as well as saying “thank you” with every register transaction.
Provides prompt and efficient responses to Customers at all times. Responds to Customer Service calls immediately. Handles all Customer issues in a courteous and helpful way, calling a member of the Store Leadership when needed.

As a representative of Ross Inc., demonstrates integrity and honesty in all interactions with Associates and Customers. Safeguards confidential information, cash and credit card information, and merchandise.
Follows all Mark-Out-of-Stock (MOS) policies, including the identification of MOS merchandise, proper processing of each piece and the notification of Store Leadership to review and approve all disposals.
Follows all policies and procedures concerning cash, check, charge card and refund transactions, voids and offline procedures. Maintains a high level of awareness and accuracy when handling bankable tenders.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency to efficiently perform their role. Maximizes productivity by executing all Store best practices and minimizing steps and touches in their work flow.

What You'll Do
Inform guests about our fabrics and the benefits of our products
Be aware of available inventory- on the sales floor and in back rooms
Clean and tidy the store as needed
Receive and process stock from warehouse. These boxes can weigh up to 30 lbs. You are responsible for unpacking, counting, tagging as required, folding, sizing, steaming, and placing on the floor
Restocking the floor regularly
Keep fitting rooms clean- returning items to the floor, properly sized and tagged
Use our Point of Sale system to take payments, collect guest information, and to issue refunds, exchanges
Assist in staff training and showroom events as scheduled
Qualifications
Available to work weekend days and occasional evenings for special events

Capable of handling difficult customer facing conversations and interactions
