Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide food and beverage to golfers on the course.
Provide a positive experience for the golfers
Report all transactions daily using proper check procedures.
Maintain inventory control on a daily basis.
Keep all work areas neat and clean, especially the cart.
Complete daily side work given to ensure good working conditions.
Ability to deal with all food and beverage and hotel personnel.
Good communication skills
Must be able to count change, make cash transactions, add, subtract, divide and multiply.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day/evening shifts, weekends and holidays
Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in food and beverage service in any operation. Basic knowledge of food and beverage plus good math skills.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Other Skills and Abilities: Must have desire to learn, common sense and a good professional attitude. Must drive a golf cart.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, an employee is frequently required to walk; stand and sit for long periods; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear both in person from close and long distances and by phone or radio. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30-50 pounds.
Work Environment: Will work out on the golf course the majority of the day. Walk in storage area to collect items for the cart.
