The Greater West Town Training Partnership in Chicago, Illinois, strives to create exceptional training programs that prepare citizens for the local workforce and contribute to its economic development. While receiving training at the institution, students can take advantage of many events and activities that color the Partnership's college life. You can attend award ceremonies, sit in on a seminar or workshop or go to a festival like the African-American Festival. The center also promotes community involvement and advocacy by providing programs designed to eliminate the barriers that prevent local residents from receiving educational and economic opportunities. The curricula of both programs are regularly reviewed and updated by local industries with which the school maintains partnerships. The center also provides job placement assistance to adults.
