Greektown company history timeline

2009

In November 2009, the casino opened 20,000 square feet of convention space and a 4,000 square foot Grand Ballroom.

2013

After a bankruptcy, Greektown was eventually bought by Dan Gilbert’s Rock Gaming in 2013.

2018

In 2018 Gilbert sold the casino for one billion dollars to Vici Properties, out of New York.

2022
