Job Description The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for assisting and supporting the Facility Director and all treatment program staff, in coordinating and providing the day to day operational needs of the facility and its patients'. BHT's are responsible for assisting with scheduled monitoring and reporting of the condition of the facility to ensure safe and orderly operations. The BHT is involved with certain intake procedures, including but not limited to obtaining data when a patient arrives to the facility, conducting searches and rounds, ensuring the safety of a patient during their treatment stay, and assisting the treatment teams with the overseeing of patients' throughout their daily schedules within the facilities policies and procedures and in accordance with the standards of the State and Federal Regulations. Depending on an individual's safe driving record, some BHT's may be involved with transportation and complying with vehicle and road/patient safety measures. JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing Level 0 technical support to all members of Ottawa University and Level 1 technical support for the members of the designated campus location. This position will also assist and attend IT team meetings for observational and educational purposes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND REQRUIED DUTIES OF THE JOB (provide list of items which are essential to effective outcomes in this role): * Level 0 support (Remote and Telephonic) for all users at the University level. Including, staff, faculty and students. * Level 1 support (in-person) for all users at the GA's designated location. * Escalate tickets to appropriate technology groups. * Aid in troubleshooting technical and operational issues with other full-time members of the information technology staff. * Create new faculty and staff accounts. * Change account details on existing employees. * Observe existing documentation. * Work with the user services team to modify existing documentation. * Work with the user services team to create new documentation. * Successfully identify technical issues that potentially impact multiple systems based on ticket metrics. Perform daily checks of classroom technology and video conferencing equipment. * Understand and maintain equipment needs for the designated campus location. * Support live events regarding audio/visual equipment, as needed. * Maintain, support, and inventory all equipment for the designated campus location. * Understand the University's policies and procedures and exercise judgment accordingly. Provide leadership with whom you work through your conduct, attitude and professionalism. Represent the information technology organization and the University to faculty, staff, students and external vendors in a way that reflects well on the University. * Other duties as assigned PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: * Proficient understanding of computer technology. * Excellent communication skills. * Basic knowledge of enterprise technical concepts. * Basic knowledge of audio/visual equipment. Qualifications GRADUATE ASSISTANT GENERAL INFORMATION: A limited number of graduate assistants are available through various departments and campus locations. The selected candidates will be granted tuition waiver (18 credit hours per year) for one of Ottawa University's graduate programs, a partial meal allowance and a bi-weekly living stipend paid over 12 months. Renewals for a second year are based on the evidence of academic performance and quality execution of assigned duties. International candidates are only eligible to pursue the on-campus MBA degree of the programs that are offered. International students must also be able to secure an F1 student visa and meet the international admissions criteria for acceptance into the Ottawa University MBA program. Appointments are generally made to those students who have shown superior aptitude in their field of study as an undergraduate and who appear likely to render a high quality of service to the University through their appointment and service activities. All Graduate Assistants must be eligible to work in the United States and present the proper documentation to the Human Resources Department prior to beginning their graduate assistantship. Academic Requirements An individual must first be accepted and enrolled in an Ottawa University graduate program to be eligible for appointment as a Graduate Assistant. The hours for this position will be Monday-Friday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and every Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm. This position is part time up to 20 hours per week. Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly services to customers and to recognize customers' needs with suggestions appropriate to the Bank's services. GENERAL: Greets and directs customers in person and on the phone. Explains various services/products available and assists customers in selecting these services/products which best meet their needs. Maintains confidentiality of customer accounts. Routinely check internal bank email and other bank communications, responding to communications in a time frame appropriate to the communication received. Clean and maintain work area with necessary supplies TELLER: Accepts and processes transactions for deposit and loan accounts. Process money orders, cashier's checks and other bank services. Complete change orders. Redeems U.S. Savings Bonds. Processes credit card cash advances. Ensure accuracy of work by reviewing work for possible errors or encoding necessary prior to scanning. Perform service requirements to the ATM Processes night deposit, drop off and mail-in deposits. Responds to customers' inquiries, by phone or in person, as appropriate. Balance and maintains proper cash level in drawers, keeps cash secure, and maintains a high level of safety and security for the bank. Provide cleaning and maintenance to teller equipment such as coin counter, scanner, etc. on a regular basis. Skill Requirements Must be able to perform all over-the-counter customer services. Must exercise accuracy, alertness, good judgment, courtesy, tact, patience and professionalism. Must, at all times, maintain confidentiality of the Bank's records and customer transactions, as well as a high degree of personal integrity. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate verbally and effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to finger and handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. This position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time. Work Environment The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
