We're growing in our new location in Aurora, IL! This position requires a self-motivated individual willing to work safely in a team-based system. They need to have the ability to schedule their work, prioritize their workload, and complete tasks in a timely manner. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. A desire for continuous improvement and quality workmanship are required to meet our customers increasing demands. Overtime including weekends may be available.
Responsibilities
Works safely and follows all related policies and programs to assure a safe working environment. Responsible for correct reporting of time, production and material usage. Set up of the machine including preparing materials and retrieving paper from storage. Using a computer, enter information relating to the production run including job information, measurements etc. Reports irregularities, maintenance needs and quality problems to the Production Supervisor. Running, changing over, starting up and cleaning up the machine. Checks raw materials on hand against what is needed for each production run to ensure shortages are prevented. Using a ruler, verify dimensions on material to ensure a quality product. Troubleshoots machine issues and make recommendations on improving the process. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Other job tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous machine operator experience is preferred. Experience in slitting, coating, or printing is preferred. Good human relations skills and strong verbal communication skills are required.

About The Opportunity
Supervises the receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of merchandise or materials. Maintains stock records and schedules.
Essential Job Functions

Manages warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, inventory, and warehousing to assure company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, customer service, cost and profitability
Directs and manages shipping and/or receiving orders, including loading trucks, inspecting materials or product, and reconciling advanced shipping notices and bills of materials to assure accuracy
Manages dock traffic and ensures that all logistics suppliers follow appropriate policies and procedures
Maintains month-to-month inventory of work-in-process product and finished goods
Manages inventory of shipping materials and supplies, including stretch film, poly bags, shrinks, glue and any consumable materials needed
Directs and participates in cycle counts and physical inventory processes as required
Coordinates with key stakeholders to meet internal and external customer on-time-delivery demands
Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to support continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence
Maintains adequate staffing levels to assure production requirements are met
Accountable for departmental key performance metrics to ensure scorecard objectives are met
Provides guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the salaried and hourly shipping and receiving team, working closely with direct reports
Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications
Education & Experience
Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required

Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products

The expected salary range for this position is $57-$71k. * Sets up Shrink-wrap machine, make ready/run.
* Feeds Inserter machine with envelopes/inserts in machine per ticket instructions.
* Ability to report daily production and consumption of materials.
* Ability to effectively communicate issues with orders and equipment.
* Performs other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.
* Must have three to five years related Bindery experience.
* Must have the ability to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.
* Must have basic computer skills (data entry).
* Must demonstrate intermediate math skills.

The person who occupies this position is responsible for coordinating the shipping of finished production materials. This position will have responsibility for maintaining and repairing existing production equipment.
Essential Job Functions

About The Opportunity
This position supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in all phases of a plant operation. Typically reporting directly to plant operations manager, this role prepares operation schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality meet specifications. + Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of area (remove stray cartons, sweep up, etc...). Performed during make ready production.
+ Responsibility that appropriate carton is being fed. Done by checking for variances in box number and collator marks.
+ Responsibility to feed only quality cartons. Feeder is to fan through stacks of production cartons being fed and check that they have proper color, register and are void of unnecessary markings.
+ Feeder is to observe for machine manufacturing malfunctions and stop glue machine when problems arise. Feeder uses mirror to detect malfunctions. Feeder is also to be aware of signals from operator or catcher to stop and start machine.
**Catcher:**
+ Removes the finished folded cartons from the press and packs them into cases.
+ Responsibility that appropriate carton is being packed: Done by checking item and job number on carton with job label being used in production.
+ Responsibility that only quality products are packed. Catcher is to check that cartons have proper color, register and are void of unnecessary markings.
+ Responsibility that proper count of production cartons are packed into case. Catcher is to hand count the first case of each different product being packed.
+ Packed production cartons are to be pushed on rollers through taping machine to the padlocker.
+ Responsible for maintenance of manufacturing area. Performed during make ready.
