Steve has been recognized for numerous industry awards over the years, including a two-time winner of EY Entrepreneur Of The Year. Steve focuses his philanthropic efforts on children in need. In 2009, Steve founded Patti's Way, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation providing grants to single mothers and their children. He is also a longtime volunteer mentoring Los Angeles County foster children and a benefactor to the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollenbeck Police Athletic League (PAL), which has recognized him with its annual Humanitarian Award. More recently, Steve was honored by CoachArt, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Steve is an often-requested speaker at prepaid and banking conferences, as well as at entrepreneur classes at universities around the country.

Mr. Bibelheimer has served as the Chief Human Resources Officer since September 2017. Prior to joining Green Dot, he served in a number of positions at Western Digital, a computer hardware and data storage company, from June 2007 to September 2017, most recently as Vice President, HR Operations from June 2010 to September 2017. Mr. Bibelheimer holds a B.S. in business management from Pepperdine University.
