Pros: the people. If you get to know the people you’re around, almost all of them are really nice. Management is super accommodating to staff who get sick and complex schedules. Christian organization. Pays comparatively well compared to other Christian nonprofit organizations. Great culture among staff.
It’s a school and there are people, so sometimes there are challenges with those people whether that be a participant, co worker, admin, or parent. It’s part of the job though. The number of participants is expanding so sometimes - despite the extremely low number of people in a room comparatively, it can be hard for a staff member to fully accommodate. However, that is helped by staff and admin who all help one another!
Staff are super friendly. Parents are awesome! Students are amazing! Good health care offered.
Super accommodating, very wise.
The current culture needs very little improvement. There are one or two staff who aren’t great but they have great support and they’re improving. Overall, it just needs to grow more in training specific staff on how to interact appropriately in a workplace - which is something that happens everywhere.
No prep. Just be personable and honest!
On par. Maybe a little better…barely if it is.
It’s very diverse.
The participants are awesome! It’s great to watch them make TONS of progress!
