Want to get paid to become a piercer at Studs? Apprentices undergo a minimum 6-week paid piercing training program inclusive of classroom style learning, observation, and hands-on training. We are looking for Apprentices to join our training program that will kickoff in January in our Austin, TX studio location. Upon successful completion of the program, graduated Apprentices will become eligible for Part Time Associate Piercer positions at our Boston, MA studio.
Hourly Rate:
Graduated apprentices make $24/hour as Associate Piercers, plus tips
During the 6-week training program, apprentices make $18/hour, plus tips

Requirements:
3 years of relevant work experience
At least two years as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (performing venipunctures and/or finger sticks) preferred
Availability:
FT: Must maintain open availability and be able to work 30-40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays
PT: 4-29 hours per week, working weekends and holidays
Must pierce a minimum 18 appointments a day
Must be able to visually inspect ear anatomy to execute advanced piercings
Must be able to deliver piercings with a steady hand
Must be able to lift 20 lbs
Must be able to handle chemicals safely

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The BMS Law Department Summer Internship program offers LAW SCHOOL STUDENTS valuable career development opportunities by providing client- and customer-focused assignments under the supervision of members of our Law Department. Key Responsibilities:
* The Global.health Curation Team works closely with project managers, who set the scope, scale, and timeline of outbreak response
* Curators compile epidemiological outbreak data from openly-accessible sources to create a standardized line-list dataset; curators may also integrate other data types including, animal outbreak data, genomic data, wastewater data, climate data, and response.
* Curators contribute to a sourcing strategy to find trusted media sources and identify, vet, and log relevant outbreak information.
* Curators consistently apply methods and best practices to ensure high-quality data.
* Curators contribute to project status updates with G.h partner organizations and our community through newsletters and other written and oral communications.
* Provide occasional ad hoc support to other IDHA projects, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
* Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in epidemiology, statistics, public health or related field.
Experience:
* Familiarity in epidemiology, data entry, and analysis.

The Opportunity:
SeniorLAW Center regularly hosts law students in full-time summer internships as well as part-time internships and externships through the school semester. Students are encouraged to explore law school funding and work-study eligibility before applying.
Internships focus on advocating for and addressing the legal needs of older Pennsylvanians, including the low-income, veterans, minorities, immigrants and refugees, and those most in need. Interns handle a wide variety of substantive problems which may include elder abuse, housing, family law, consumer protection, and advance planning.
Intern responsibilities include some or all of the following:

Handle a small individual caseload with supervision
Assist legal staff with more complex litigation and cases
Help develop community education materials
Help conduct outreach workshops and attend community events

The Community Crisis Response Therapist Intern works as a member of the crisis response team directed by a Community Crisis Response Program Supervisor/ Field Instructor. Responsible for timely client termination/evaluation letters.
Provide advocacy and coordination with schools, the justice system, social services, health services, and like agencies as needed.
Provide culturally competent clinical services, including but not necessarily limited to: crisis assessments, safety plans, treatment plans and updates, individual crisis counseling, skill building for youth and caregivers, linkages, and termination/transition summary reports.
Adhere to Agency/ACS/ NASW codes of conduct and ethics. Adhere to Learning Contract as designed by Student and Field Instructor.
Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree required. Must be, at a minimum, a current second year Master's student in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
Licensure: Valid Ohio Trainee license (Social Work Trainee, Counselor Trainee, Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee), or higher, required.

The Legal Intern reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Internship presents a valuable opportunity for 2nd year law students to gain experiential education and for Northwestern Memorial Hospital to benefit from the service, skills and knowledge that law students can offer. The law students will be placed in the Contracting department and will be exposed to various vendors, contracts and negotiations. The internship is 10-12 weeks in length and is scheduled for the summer term only.
Interns are paired with a Director to complete a three month project aligned with NMH's strategic objectives.
