Responsibilities Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose and treat the cardiovascular system. Perform active physiological monitoring of heart rate, rhythm, pressures, and saturations. Anticipate and adapt to physician and case needs. Assist with room setup, patient transport and post-procedure clean-up. Perform patient education regarding post-procedure monitoring and care of catheter insertion site. Provide instructions and information regarding activity including normal, variant and issues requiring intervention.
