Greenbush Logistics is seeking to hire a Director of Safety. This position will oversee DOT and Safety compliance in all aspects, monitor safety systems in place, and communicate findings to management. The Director of Safety will also assist in conducting audits in maintenance shops, terminals, plants and communicating those results to management. These responsibilities will be completed by executing the duties listed below, along with other tasks that may be assigned.
* Provide leadership and establish a safety culture at all plant locations.
* Assist in overseeing all aspects of development, implementation, and management of the Company's DOT Trucking Compliance Programs, including CMV Files, DOT Driver Qualification Files, DOT Drug/Alcohol Programs, Vehicle Inspections, Hours of Service, etc.
* Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Regulations.
* Conduct Safety meetings and presentations for safety matters and accident prevention.
* Conduct Maintenance Shop Audits. Identify potential hazards and recommend solutions to prevent them from reoccurring, and report all findings to the Director of Maintenance.
* Assist all in developing training & safety programs including safety suite, video coaching systems, online driver training lessons, and electronic logging device (ELD) oversight.
* Maintain documentation necessary to comply with the Safety Management Plan, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
* Inspect equipment to observe possible unsafe or non-compliant conditions and ensuring corrective action is taken on audit/inspection findings.
* Evaluate of Roadside Inspections of company trucks and assess accuracy.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; and/or 3-5 years of experience managing safety programs; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Diesel Mechanic Position Summary:

Job Summary
Under the guidance of Cost Estimating management, the Lead Cost Estimator prepares cost estimates for mid-sized to large capital construction projects with moderate to high complexity. This role involves close collaboration with the Project Manager and other team members to develop and update project cost estimates. The Lead Cost Estimator adheres to established departmental procedures, guidelines, and best practices throughout the estimate development process and when documenting the basis of estimate, while also supporting management in the development and continuous improvement of existing procedures and practices. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Essential Functions
Collaborates with the Project Manager and team to create cost estimates at various scope maturity levels using InEight Estimate application and Excel.
Collects project scope details, drawings, schedules, and execution strategies. Prepares and maintains the Basis of Estimate document to support development of cost estimates
Perform QC checks on estimates prepared by fellow Estimators on the team and review and assessment of cost estimates completed by others. Provides feedback in prioritized and comprehensive format and develops formal Cost Estimate Review Reports when required.
Develop cost estimate by identifying work packages, quantifying scope elements, estimating direct cost line items and construction indirect costs, and estimating project "soft" costs such as project management, construction management, etc.
Support development of project budget contingency to account for estimate uncertainties and potential project risks events. Participates in risk evaluation sessions or pre-construction reviews, and ensures risks are documented and assessed in terms of probability and impact to enable project team development of risk mitigation plans and contingencies
Assists with preparing and assessing change order impact estimates, mentors' junior estimators, contribute to initiatives in business process improvements.
Conduct site visits of future and ongoing construction project sites to support cost estimate development and gain knowledge of craft/discipline scope of work.

Summary
Greenbush Logistics is seeking to hire a Plant mechanic. The Plant mechanic will perform preventative maintenance, routine and non-routine repairs, and troubleshoot problems with machinery. Responsible for maintenance, repair, installation, and modification of all sawmill equipment to safely maximize uptime, quality, and productivity. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Essential Duties:
Will perform inspection, services, and adjustments in routine daily maintenance on vehicles including lubricating, cleaning parts, and maintaining tractor/trailers/forklifts.
Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, plumb bobs, and lasers.
Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools.
Move equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
Replace defective parts of a machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
Position steel beams to support bedplates of machines and equipment
Insert shims, adjust the tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts using hand tools and measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.
Lay out mounting holes using measuring instruments, and drill holes with a power drill.
Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
Replace sprockets, pumps, machine centers, chains, sheaves, and belts with proper alignment.
Replace hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, valves, and hoses.
Basic stick welding and oxygen/acetylene torch cutting.
Ability to splice and track various-size conveyor belts.
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance checks and services per company policies and procedures.
Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, air, and hydraulic systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on tools, repair parts, and equipment.
Adjust operating mechanisms.
Determines the extent of corrective action and repair parts required to correct malfunctions.
Reads, understands, and applies information in company maintenance manuals, technical manuals, policies, and common schematic diagrams/drawings.
