    About the Job Come Join the American Mattress Family! You'll be responsible for the delivery of merchandise to client's homes and our stores. Merchandise includes mattresses, adjustable bases, and futons. A two person team will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods by using team lifting and/or material handling equipment. Professionalism and attention to detail are required so that no damage occurs to either the merchandise or the customer's property. Basic set up for qualified mattress sets is part of the service provided. Additional Job Responsibilities: Operates a 26-foot box truck. Properly loads and protects all product for delivery. Handles paperwork accurately and acquires all signatures per process. Addresses and relays any customer concerns to management immediately. Completes basic bedding setups. (IE. mattress on adjustable base or box spring and frame, etc.) Occasionally assists with warehouse tasks including unloading trucks, loading customer vehicles, and moving product on the sales floor. Assists with cleaning and other housekeeping duties at stores. Performs misc. duties as assigned. Basic math skills needed. Work ethic is important. Reliability is important.
