Brattleboro Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Brattleboro, VT, is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in the nation. Our counseling team provides compassionate, high-quality counseling and therapy to patients who are seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder.
Your Job as a Substance Use Counselor:
The Substance Use Counselor is instrumental in our patients' treatment and recovery from opioid use disorder. Substance Use Counselors provide high-quality, compassionate care through various mediums, which include both individual and group counseling sessions.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, compassionate guidance in both individual and group counseling sessions.
Plan, oversee, facilitate, and document the patient's recovery.
Co-facilitate assigned group or family sessions as needed.
Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents is completed in a timely and clear, and concise manner.
Prepare individual treatment plans for each assigned patient.
Initial assessments as well as follow-up assessments.
Evaluate patient needs and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities are needed.
May plan for aftercare for assigned patients.
Provide crisis intervention to patients, as needed.
Provide case management duties for patients, ensuring individualized quality care as needed.
Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients, as needed.
Compensation for roles at Brattleboro CTC varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Brattleboro CTC provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Vermont as set forth below.

Calculated Salary Range for role: $24.10- $31.49 per hour.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university or be enrolled in an Associate's degree program of study.
Prefer Bachelor's or Master's degree in social or health services field from an accredited college or university.
Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities.
* Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
* Experience conducting individual and group counseling sessions focused on substance use recovery.
* Knowledge of evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and relapse prevention techniques.
* Documentation experience, including maintaining clinical notes, treatment plans, and progress updates in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
* Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission standards).
* Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary team with medical staff, case managers, and peer support specialists.
Licenses/Certifications:
* Required: AAP, ADC, or LADC, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.

The ideal candidate will be technically focused, with solid experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing drinking water and wastewater systems. In collaboration with the Technical Manager, you will help lead the delivery of multiple projects, work directly with clients and internal teams, and support marketing and proposal efforts.

What you will be doing at Woodard & Curran:
* Managing and executing work on water and wastewater system design, planning, and construction projects by leading and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams within Woodard & Curran and with sub-consultants.
* Determining the overall delivery approach for projects. Partner with senior leadership to develop technical approaches to larger projects.
* Scheduling and tracking project budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
* Utilizing Woodard & Curran's Project Quality Assurance Program to execute all projects.
* Demonstrating strong and proactive communication skills to keep the project management and technical team(s) updated as project work progresses.
* Connecting and working with external suppliers and subcontractors to support project delivery.
* Interacting with clients and representing the firm in a professional manner
* Visiting client sites for meetings, proposal development, and/or observing construction project status.
* Coordinating with contractors and clients in the field during construction to ensure that projects are executed in compliance with the Contract Documents.
* Interfacing with state and local regulatory agencies and permitting officials
* Conducting and coordinating QA/QC reviews on project deliverables to ensure Woodard & Curran technical excellence standards are met.
* Collaborating with leadership and resource leaders on staffing projects.
* Providing input on the development of Woodard & Curran design guidelines and standards.
* Preparing and delivering presentations and training programs to internal and external clients and professional associations.
* Supporting business development efforts under the direction of a client manager.
What You Will Need To Succeed:
* 10-15 years of consulting engineering experience.
* A B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or an M.S. Degree is preferred.
* Registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, and/or Connecticut (or ability to apply for reciprocity).
* The successful candidate will have project management and delivery expertise in civil and environmental engineering and an in-depth understanding of the engineering concepts associated with municipal water and wastewater systems.
* Ability to manage multiple projects with demonstrated strong project management skills
* Well-versed in state and federal regulations.
* Knowledgeable in state bidding laws and funding programs. Experience with Massachusetts Chapter 149 Bidding is preferred.
* Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations to stakeholders is a plus.

This role has the option for remote work, and the anticipated pay range is flexible, depending on factors such as the employee's primary work location, skills, experience, and education. The following examples illustrate how the pay range for the same role can vary based on different locations.

This position's anticipated pay range is provided; final exempt salary or non-exempt hourly pay will be dependent on experience level as well as considering a % based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working. Reporting to the Director of Gift Planning, you will manage a portfolio of ~120 prospects and donors, securing impactful six- and seven-figure commitments to support the College's mission and upcoming comprehensive campaign.
Core Responsibilities
* Portfolio Management: Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of approximately 120 alums and friends.
* Donor Engagement: Conduct 100+ substantive interactions annually (including 25+ solicitations); travel 30-50% domestically.
* Technical Expertise: Design customized gift strategies and illustrations for life income gifts (CGAs, trusts), estate gifts, and complex assets (real estate, closely held stock).
* Collaboration: Partner with Leadership and Principal Gift teams to integrate planned giving into broader donor strategies.
* Program Support: Assist with marketing materials, Mary Lyon Society stewardship events, and tracking estate settlements.
* Administration: Maintain accurate records in our Salesforce-based CRM and utilize PG Calc/TIAA Kaspick for gift modeling.
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in fundraising, law, financial planning, or a related field.
* Proven track record of closing five-figure+ gifts or comparable high-stakes engagements.
* Ability to translate complex financial/legal concepts into donor-friendly language.
* Deep commitment to DEI, ethics, and inclusive donor engagement.
* Willingness to travel frequently and work occasional evenings/weekends.
Preferred:
* 5+ years of gift planning experience.
* Proficiency with Salesforce, PG Calc, and TIAA Kaspick tools.
