She also serves on the board of directors for Veloz, Monarch School and Smart Electric Power Alliance; the executive council for Western Energy Institute; and the director’s council of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. She has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from California State University Sacramento and is a registered professional engineer in the State of California.
