Pros of working at Greif

There are no pros, this is a predatory corporation. They do not adhere to their own policies, do not honor CBA's or federal law in their dealings with employees.

Cons of working at Greif

After working 37 years for Greif , I can honestly state that Greif does not value inclusity or diversity

Greif benefits

The Barbershop, Cafeteria and watching the higher ups live the life off of the fruits of others labors while disregarding rights.

What do you like best about Greif's CEO and the leadership team?

They hide from employees trying to use the open door policy, or try to buy you off and get you to sign NDA's. Real Stand Up Leadership.

How would you improve Greif's culture?

Fire the entire sycophantic corporate management team.

How did you prepare for the Greif interview?

I was bought out by Greif and they've been nothing but parasitic employers. They do not care about any of the values they espouse, nor do they care about employees who actually do the labor.

How does your compensation at Greif compare to the industry average?

Kept at just enough to keep you there. And HR is basically non existent

What's the diversity at Greif like?

Predatory and false

What brings you the most joy at Greif?

leaving a place that has sucked my life away for 37 years, and a corporation that does not adhere to their own values and principles.

What do you like best about Greif's CEO and the leadership team?

Leadership team seems to lack concern for employee work-life balance, safety, and overall well-being.

How would you improve Greif's culture?

Leadership training, SWOT analysis, a solid training program for staff to succeed. Remember your values: A team isn't just people working together; it's a group of individuals who trust each other's skills and help each other to reach shared objectives.

How did you prepare for the Greif interview?

General interview

How does your compensation at Greif compare to the industry average?

For the area, pay was compatible for the area.

What's the diversity at Greif like?

Good old boy thinking/culture with a lack of adjusting, will be the eventual downfall of the organization.

What brings you the most joy at Greif?

When I clock out on the weekends and become unavailable, so my time can be respected.
