Diagnoses test equipment malfunctions, and services and repairs equipment as required. Diagnose malfunctions and analyze results using testing devices, then repair and replace broken machine components Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain combustion systems. Responsible for continuing education to keep up with changing technology. Configure, commission, and test new equipment while making sure all maintenance and installations are well-documented, working properly, and operating safely. Document repairs for regulatory purposes. Perform bench work in repairing and maintaining production equipment and spare part assemblies. Oversee maintenance contract and service work as assigned. Order and maintain spare parts. Assist with keeping neat and orderly records on work performed. Work with Engineering, Production Team Leads, Manager, Group Leaders, and coworkers to accomplish the desired result. Adjust schedule and work hours to accomplish the desired result, ability to be on-call and must be able to work weekends, off shifts, and holidays as required. Perform work assignments efficiently while being consistent with good safety practices. Assist in procedure/equipment upgrades as necessary. Report any maintenance and/or safety issues to supervisor. SUMMARY Plan, layout, install, and repair wiring, conduit, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment or follows diagrams or blueprints insuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring. - Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit using such tools as a hacksaw, pipe threader, rules and conduit benders. - Pulls wiring through conduit, assisted by helper. - Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads with knife or pliers, twisting or soldering wires together and applying tape or terminal caps. - Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools. - Installs control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays and circuit- breaker panels, and fastens in place with crews or bolts using hand or power tools. - Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads. - Test continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as ohmmeter, battery and buzzer and oscilloscope. - Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. - Disassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systems. - Load, transport and unload material, tools, equipment and supplies. - Maintains tools and equipment. - Be able to distinguish colors. - Knowledge of certain procedures such as LOTO, etc. - Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.

Plan and execute mill electrical projects to code and support the maintenance and repair of plant equipment as needed. Safely performing installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on all plant electrical equipment Running conduit and pulling wire Available to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends when needed Willing to travel to other facilities, including Oakdale and Chopin Safely installing, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and maintaining all electrical and electronic plant equipment Corrective and preventive maintenance problem resolution Job Qualifications A willingness to learn and grow is critical for this position.
