**This role in summary**
This position will operate and support specific automated equipment related to an assigned area. Each area has machines with industrial computers for monitoring faults, troubleshooting, and overall process operation. The Production Technician will be responsible for keeping the flow of the equipment moving. This includes reacting to faults and jam ups that cause production stoppages and inspections/gaging. This role in summary
Position provides functional support to install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment. Responsible for work on substation, wiring circuits, distribution centers, control panels, electronic devices, etc. Work hours consist of a rotating 10-hr shift with 8 days on, 6 days off. This may require presence at facility during night shifts, weekends and holidays. This is a Safety Sensitive position. Employees in this classification will be included on the list of employees who may be randomly screened under our Substance Abuse policy.

Your responsibilities will include
Install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment with minimum supervision, using a broad knowledge of applied trade practices and technique.
The use of ladders, raised platforms, caged lifts, and manual climbing on equipment at various heights up to and including 25 feet is required.
Plan, layout and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in conformance with established codes, install switches and controls, central subsidiary control panels, electronic devices and all other duties incidental to installation.
Maintain substation; diagnose and remedy all electrical, electronic and mechanical troubles.
Work from wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic schematic drawings and code book.
Use all electrical measuring and testing devices.
May direct and layout work for electricians of lower classification.
Minimum requirements
* State of WIsconsin license is required
* All license electricians from another state without a WI license must show proof of reciprocity between the state they are license in and WI
* Candidates with electrical experience without a WI license must acquire a license within six months of the first date of employment.

The Tool Room Wire EDM Machinist is a safety-sensitive position within the Tool Room department, reporting to the Tool Room Supervisor. **Your responsibilities will include**
+ Create machining programs using company provided CAD/CAM software and the machine controllers. Review programs to be used to operate the wire EDM machines.
+ Responsible for the set-up and operation of the wire EDM machine and equipment in order to meet precise tolerances and finishes.
+ Download, set-up and check programs prior to operating CNC machining equipment including;milling machines, lathes and surface grinders in order to meet precise tolerances and finishes.
+ Assist Tool Room and manufacturing with any machining requirements and tool repairs as necessary. Set-up and prepare tooling per machining requirements.
+ Build and finish to blueprint specification: die components, fixtures, production equipment and machinery components including prototype parts fabrication while maintaining precision tolerances and desired finish.
+ Do any required light maintenance on Charmilles wire EDM equipment per manufacturer's requirements.
+ Perform additional assignments as directed by the position's Lead or supervisor.
+ Must be knowledgeable of and operate within the provisions of the Tool Room "DQOP" and "ISO" policies and procedures.
+ Participate in activities to assist in ensuring safe working conditions for facility employees.
**Minimum requirements**
+ Working knowledge of CNC/NC programming and CAD\CAM systems is required (Esprit & ProtoTrak preferred.)
+ Requires an Associate Degree in a technical discipline and two (2) years of tool room related experience; OR a high school diploma or equivalent, post secondary education equivalent to one year of a technical discipline and four (4) years of tool room experience; OR a high school diploma or equivalent and six (6) years of tool room experience.
+ Ability to comprehend blueprints and schematics relating to tooling, equipment, and fixtures.
+ Working knowledge of tool room equipment, including but not limited to: Bridgeport mills, lathes,surface grinders, vertical machining centers and other ancillary equipment.
+ Math competency in basic algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
+ Understanding of tool steel selection process and application.
+ Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
+ Ability to use precision measuring equipment including dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers.
