Performs duties of a complex, technical, and/or specialized nature to support department function. Works independently and has a detailed knowledge of the department's activities and procedures. Reviews and monitors quality and accuracy of data that is used for compliance, accreditation, and operational/financial purposes. + Performs research and analysis on support options and makes recommendations to customers; Participates in or directly negotiates pricing and service levels with contractors; Manages master services and multi-unit/multi-department equipment service contracts, including monitoring contract performance. + Procures or participates in the procurement of equipment service contracts and for Hospitality and Food and Beverage operations, projects, and services in general. + Coordinates services, resolves contract performance issues, and provides customer support. Assists management in resolving customer service issues. Develops and implements specific customer equipment management programs to meet compliance or other operational needs. + Analyzes data and performs research for department programs and makes recommendations to management, including opportunities for improvement in services and cost-savings. Creates management reports, those required for other City of Hope departments, or regulatory agencies. + Contributes to the development of section budgets, monitors and tracks expenditures. Ensures proper payments/credits related to department function. Reviews and approves expenditures within signature authority level. + Delegates work to clerical staff and provides direction and guidance; Resolves process or procedural issues to ensure operational needs are met. Primary Function

The Heavy Equipment Airfield Ops Senior Operator - Sweeper, reporting to the Heavy Equipment Airfield Ops Foreman in the Mission Support Group is responsible for driving, operating and light servicing of an airfield sweeper and performing other related grounds maintenance tasks on the airfield as required. Responsibilities

* Safely operates airfield/street sweepers, including Tymco and Schwarze models.

* Maintains and repairs runways, taxiways, and ramp areas including plowing snow, weed removal, patching, etc. to ensure safe operation by airport users.

* Reads and interprets instructions and documentation

* Plans work activities

* Moves materials, tools and equipment to and from work locations in support of maintenance activities

* Loads and unloads vehicles as needed

* Performs a variety of other skilled tasks including the operation of light to heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.

* Operates various other pieces of heavy equipment such as bobcats and front-end loaders, graders, forklifts and split-gear haul truck and dump trucks.

**The opportunity**

EY US, is currently seeking high-potential seniors to deliver exceptional client service and to fuel the continued growth of our exciting TFO and Global Operations practices. The opportunity involves assisting our clients as well as internal teams in the design and execution of transition plans for these transformational engagements. **Key responsibilities**

Your role as a senior will focus on establishing relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels while working to consistently deliver exceptional client service. Additionally, you will work with management, assisting in the various processes within the TFO engagement, including:

+ Integrating transition planning and execution, as well as the management of staff reporting to you

+ Communicating the status and progress of the day-to-day operations of the project management office and transition plans/processes on a regular basis with those to whom you report as well as the client

+ Monitoring progress, managing risk, driving operational efficiencies and confirming that key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes

+ Teaming across service lines and technical specialties

+ Continuing to standardize and improve our internal processes and go-to-market approaches

**Skills and attributes for success**

+ Work with client and internal EY TFO team to develop the transition scope of services related to moving the function from the client environment to EY. This includes but is not limited to knowledge transfer, facility, technology and tool implementation, identification of data requirements, process changes and day 1 readiness criteria,

+ Monitor EY's performance, quality and effectiveness through the transition life cycle

+ Consistent communication between key players on the client and EY team to ensure smooth transition and completeness of agreed to TFO services

**To qualify for the role, you must have:**

+ Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of three years of related work experience
