Dave has served as Chairman of the Board of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa, Co-Chair of Jolly Holiday Lights (Make-A-Wish’s largest fundraiser in Iowa), and board member of Hospice of Central Iowa. He is currently a board member of Mercy Hospital Foundation in Des Moines and is also Trustee and Finance Chair for St. Joseph parish in Des Moines. Dave was born in Oelwein, Iowa, and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Iowa State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI).

Roby Shay are a Mentor at Global Insurance Accelerator and VP, Enterprise Solutions & Chief Information Officer at Grinnell Mutual and are based in West Des Moines, Iowa.
