Reports To: Service Manager
Purpose:
Independently performs complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Service Location Manager, or Shop Foreman.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology
Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians
Conducts or supports customer clinics
Perform diagnostics and repairs in the field as required
Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders
Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and on time submittal of information
May participate in John Deere University Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
All other duties as assigned
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
Experience performing service repairs; demonstrated experience consistently meeting performance metrics preferred
Experience performing repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures on machines of the Technician's specialty
Experience with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment
Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes
Experience with basic computer functions; experience using Service ADVISORâ„¢ or other computer based diagnostic repair tools preferred
Experience working cooperatively in a team environment
Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing
Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Associate degree preferred
Valid driver's license required; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred

Position Summary:
The primary goal of the EPG ISR is revenue growth for all Retail EPG product lines. The EPG ISR will be responsible for generating leads, compiling quotes, and establishing customer relationships within Cleveland Brothers Western E-Division Sales Territories. This position will be the lead for developing EPG Retail quotes for opportunities of 500 kW and less. Identify, communicate, and build relationships with new and inactive customers by utilizing Company & third-party databases to generate new opportunities. Provide Standby EPG support to the consulting engineer community and end users reagarding current and legacy standby EPG projects. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, self starting, multitask capable, and an excellent communicator. This position will be officed at the New Stanton, PA location.
Primary Responsibilities:
This position mandates that the employee be able to perform all of the following functions:
* Compile and develop all EPG quotes (500 kW or less) with support/sign-off from the Sales Engineers;
* Compile and develop change orders related to Retail & Investor Products with support/guidance from the Sales Engineers;
* Support Sales Engineers with submitting supplier RFP's for quotes;
* NAXT Responsibilities for all applicable opportunities, quoted projects and change order entries - both CE and F&O responsibilities;
* Provide Standby EPG support to the consulting engineer community and end users pertaining to current and legacy standby EPG projects;
* Identify, communicate, and build relationships with new and inactive customers by utilizing Company & third-party databases to generate new opportunities - via email and phone calls;
* Maintain high customer satisfaction through professional communication, responding to requests in a timely manner with a sense of urgency, and providing customers with effective solutions to their business challenges;
* Participate in project review meetings (as needed) to discuss actual profitability vs. quoted profitability and how/where we can improve quote accuracy;
* Meet established goals for new customers, daily minimum outbound calls and emails, sales goals, and lead generation;
* Establish a working relationship with customers based on value, knowledge, trust, and character;
* Build collaborative relationships and ensure business integrity is maintained;
