We are looking for Experienced Groundskeepers to complete our 5812 Maintenance Team! PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Physically walk the community on a regular basis and remove litter, trash, debris, limbs, pet droppings, etc. from grounds, breezeways, landing, common hallways, pool area (if applicable), laundry rooms, mail rooms (if applicable), dumpster areas, recreation areas, parking lots, driveways, walkways. Clear sidewalks, stoops, and/or stairwells of snow and ice with use of broom, shovel snow blower or other equipment; distribute salt/deicer; plow snow from driveways. Perform regularly scheduled light checks. Clean pool (may be required to add chemicals depending on state regulations) Perform “trash out” duties at vacant apartments on a daily basis. Remove all abandoned furniture, trash, and/or boxes. Remove to dumpster or storage area, as assigned. Transfer trash left outside of dumpster into dumpster. Pick up and sweep area. Detail community on a regular basis. Clean and rake shrub areas; shovel mud when necessary. Use blower to keep sidewalks and walking areas clean of loose grass and/or other debris. Repair and/or replace windows, screens, sliding doors, etc. Perform routine maintenance as requested. Assist with various physical tasks as directed, such as tearing down fences, digging holes etc. Help clean and maintain storage areas. Perform interior and exterior painting duties when requested. Change locks and/or make keys when requested. Perform work-area clean up and safety related duties. Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisor.
