Responsibilities:
Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation
Carrying out inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues
Identifying, planning and implementing all necessary PM's to prevent mechanical issues
Planning and overseeing all repairs and installation activities
Monitoring equipment inventory and placing orders when necessary
Monitoring expenses and controlling the budget for maintenance
Applying maintenance skillset to complete various tasks in-house to reduce costs and meet budget goals
Leading a team of maintenance and janitorial associates, providing training and support as needed
Managing relationships with contractors and service providers
Negotiating contracts and prices with vendors and contractors

ROLE SUMMARY:
Dollar Shave Club is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and optimize the performance of all on-site equipment and machinery. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper functioning of production machinery and components, as well as owning the site's preventative maintenance program. You will troubleshoot machine and equipment issues as they arise, resolving them promptly to minimize operational downtime. Additionally, you will manage parts inventory, coordinate with vendors to ensure timely ordering and delivery of necessary parts, and be responsible for the training and development of the Machine Technician I.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on lift equipment jacks, chargers, and batteries
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all conveyors, bar code readers, labeler machines, sensors, photo eyes and weigh scales
Perform general building maintenance including dock overhead doors, construction repair, roll carts, floor repair and second level gates, doors, etc. Performs light plumbing maintenance on occasion
Monitor and accurately maintain spare parts inventory
Maintain all tools and equipment used for maintenance and repairs in good working order
Submit tool purchase requests to manager
Support automation to operate at its maximum efficiency ensuring delivery of contracted key performance indicators
Perform various carpentry assignments as needed
Ability to work at heights
Use personal vehicle to pick up parts, tools and equipment

Coordinate and schedule major repairs with outside vendors when needed
Request for and obtain quotes from outside contractors
Maintain facility grounds including keeping sidewalks free from snow, ice, or other debris and replacing office and warehouse light bulbs
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED
4+ years of relevant work experience within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Experience in forklift maintenance, conveyor maintenance or a related field
Mechanical, Electrical or Electro mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift, push or pull items weighing 70 pounds to 100 pounds
Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics
Forklift factory certification strongly desired
Demonstrated regular attendance
Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications)

Key Responsibilities:
General Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Supervise the work of outside contractors involved in maintaining the property's physical condition, as directed by the Property Manager.
Repairs: Address routine maintenance issues and requests promptly, such as minor carpentry work, leak repairs, painting, and repairs to small and large household appliances (including installation), as well as smoke detectors and ceiling lights, while providing exceptional service and minimizing reliance on outside vendors.
Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs while ensuring compliance with safety and fair housing regulations.
Property Operations: Ensure that vacant units are promptly prepared for rent. Conduct regular inspections of common areas and vacant units to guarantee that they remain clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing, embodying a "market-ready" standard. Keep detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities, along with a comprehensive inventory of supplies, to facilitate efficient management and responsiveness.
What we need from you:
**A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Experience: Experience in property maintenance supervision, construction, or a related field is required. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Skills: HVAC certification is a significant advantage. EPA certification is also beneficial. Basic skills in electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry are essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. Applicants should demonstrate a solid work ethic and the ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform manual labor, lift objects weighing over 50 lbs., and work in various weather conditions.
Availability: Must be able to participate in the on-call rotation.

Job Summary: Manages all facilities operations and maintenance activities to include corrective and preventive maintenance, grounds maintenance, and janitorial activities. This includes center maintenance functions to ensure center buildings, grounds, roads, sidewalks, and equipment are clean, well maintained, and free of hazards. Ensures the facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained in operating condition, and facilities provide a safe and attractive living and learning environment for students and staff. Monitor and supervise maintenance staff and subcontracted activities.
Duties:
Recommends, hires, trains, supervisors, and evaluates assigned maintenance staff.

Provides training and development to staff and monitors center workload to ensure full utilization of maintenance work order systems.
Monitor maintenance and emergency repairs.
Implement a maintenance program that includes written preventive maintenance procedures for center buildings, grounds and equipment, approved by the Regional Office and provides for qualified maintenance personnel to be available or on call 24/7.
Manage National Office Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) tracking system, Asset Essentials, that documents scheduled maintenance, work orders, center plans and Maintenance (O&M) deficiencies.
Ensures O&M deficiencies and funded CRA projects are completed promptly in a cost-efficient manner.
Maintains a complete set of blueprints of the Center
Prioritizes and assigns staff daily work orders according to need.
Establish procedures for handling emergency maintenance problems at all times including weekends and after- hours.
Supervise students performing maintenance work as part of an approved career technical training program or center support program.
Before engaging in facility rehabilitation, including Career Technical Skills Training (CTST) projects, seeks and receives approval from the National Office, as applicable.
Coordinate with the state or local jurisdiction of authority to obtain all required construction permits and preoccupancy inspections if applicable.
Participate in the facility survey process that includes Long-range planning; Review and discussion of the facility survey findings; and Development and implementation of measures to meet Federal mandates like resource conservation, green initiatives, and other environmental issues.
Updates and submits all required maintenance reports, to include but not limited to the Job Corps Construction Rehab Report, FNC, Energy Watchdog, and waste reports.
Implements procedures and conducts periodic self-evaluation and audits to ensure integrity, accountability, and prevention of fraud and program abuse.
Conducts and documents regularly scheduled department meetings to provide direction, communicate progress, and share information.
Attends weekly facility meeting to discuss facility issues and concerns.
Participates in PRH mandated staff training.
Performs other duties as assigned within the individual's scope and capabilities.
